🔥 CLIENT TRANSFORMATION: BAXTER CONNELLY @baxterconnelly_ 🔥

From 89.5kg to 81.9kg - that’s a massive 7.6kgs dropped in 12 weeks while retaining lean muscle tissue 💪🏻

Baxter has been extremely diligent in following his customised nutrition plan and training protocol, particularly with checking in every single week, and the results speak for themselves ✅

The initial goal was to get as shredded as possible for Knockout @eventshsu, and we worked together to get him into fantastic shape for the rave. Now with summer just around the corner, we’re ready to take things to the next level ☀️🔥

The next goal? Build bigger shoulders while getting even leaner 🔪 With the right training adjustments, nutrition and consistency, I’m confident we can make some serious progress 📈

I’m incredibly proud of your hard work and discipline my brother! This is what happens when you trust the process and stay consistent. We’re only getting started! 🤝

Also thanks for making my life easy as a coach, having self motivated clients is a blessing, particularly when data is accurate 💯

Who says you have to slow down at 59 years young? 🤷🏻‍♂️🔥

A quick coaching check in with my client Sediq, followed by a solid session in the gym 💪🏻

Sediq is an absolute workhorse and has been incredibly disciplined with his training protocol 👊🏻

When it comes to coaching, I don’t believe in cookie-cutter training programs or meal plans. I customised Sediq’s program around the machines available at his gym, while ensuring his training and macronutrient targets align with his environment and food preferences.

Coaching should fit your lifestyle, not the other way around 💯

Proud of you my brother! Love working together, and so inspiring, keep it up! ❤️💪🏻

Whey Protein Isolate (WPI) vs Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC)

Which is the right one for you?

If you are someone who it’s is on restricted calories trying to lose weight & have issues digesting lactose then WPI would be the best bet for you.

If you are a bit more flexible with your calories and protein intake and looking for a protein with a more richer, creamier taste and looking to budget a bit more, then WPC would be your go to

If I could sit down with the 22 year old version of myself, this is what I’d tell him…

Stop looking for the perfect program.

Stop jumping from workout to workout because a new fitness influencer told you this is the secret.

Stop stressing over one bad meal.

Stop comparing your physique to someone who’s been training for 15+ years longer than you.

And stop thinking you need to have it all figured out right now.

I found 291 old photos from my fitness journey dating back to 2010, and looking through them was a crazy reminder of how much can change when you simply keep showing up.

There were years where I had no idea what I was doing.

Years where I thought I knew everything.

Years where I was frustrated with my physique.

And years where I finally started putting the pieces together.

The biggest difference wasn’t finding some secret exercise or diet.

It was staying consistent long enough to actually see what consistency could do.

If you’re starting your fitness journey, don’t underestimate what the next 5 - 10 years can do for you.

Build the habits now.
Learn the fundamentals.
Stop chasing shortcuts.
And most importantly, enjoy the process.

Because one day, you’ll look back at your old photos too and realise just how far you’ve come.

Your future physique is being built by what you do today.

🔥 Ready to stop guessing and start building?

If you’re a busy male trying to build muscle, get shredded and become your best version, DM me “TRIPLE R METHOD” and let’s jump on a call to see whether you’re the right fit for the team.

I’ve made plenty of mistakes over the last 15+ years so you don’t have to.

Your journey doesn’t need to take 15 years to figure out - but it does need to start today.

September is Suicide Prevention Month 💚

A reminder that strength isn’t always about how much weight you can lift, how hard you can train, or how much you can handle on your own.

Sometimes strength is asking for help.
Sometimes it’s checking in on a mate.
Sometimes it’s simply getting through a hard day and giving tomorrow another chance.

Life can change more than you think it can.

A bad chapter doesn’t have to become the whole story. Keep moving forward, keep finding purpose, and don’t underestimate what training, routine, good people and having something to work towards can do for your life.

And if someone around you seems a little quieter than usual, check in. A simple conversation can mean more than you realise.

There is always more life to live, more memories to make and more versions of yourself you haven’t met yet. 💚

Look after yourself. Look after your mates.

Fitness is your Fortune.

Eating healthy is NOT expensive. You’re just paying for the ultimate modern engines of instant self gratification and convenience via food delivery apps. 🫠

I had a conversation with one of the younger gym bros at World Gym today who was telling me that eating healthy is too expensive.

Counterargument: it really isn’t.

If you’re smart with your grocery shopping, you can eat well for roughly $100 a week - and you can absolutely bring that number down by buying budget-friendly foods, shopping in bulk and meal prepping.

Now compare that to ordering Uber Eats or Menulog every day.

You’re not just paying for the food. You’re paying for convenience and instant gratification.

Do that consistently for the rest of the year and you’ll spend far more than you would buying groceries and preparing your own meals.

So instead of complaining that eating healthy is expensive:

Go to the supermarket.
Buy your groceries.
Meal prep on the weekend.
Pack your meals.
And stop making excuses.

Looking after yourself doesn’t need to be complicated - or expensive.

That’s my rant. 🥵 #HealthyEating #BudgetFriendly #MealPrep #FitnessJourney #NutritionTips

Torso day at Refined Performance (detailed video) 😳

My current split is built around 3 torso sessions per week - chest, back and shoulders - and 2 limb sessions focused on arms and legs. It keeps training focused: enough weekly exposure to refine technique, progressively overload key movements and give each muscle the attention it needs without filling sessions with unnecessary exercises and volume.

Torso workout:

1. Single arm sagittal plane pulldown - a controlled unilateral back movement to emphasise lat length and keep each side working evenly. Great for individuals with lat imbalances (like me).
2. Incline Hammer Strength chest press - stable pressing for upper chest focus while allowing hard, consistent loading.
3. Nautilus reverse pec deck - targeting rear delts to support shoulder balance and a fuller upper back look.
4. Prime seated machine Kelso shrug - upper back and mid trap work with a strict, supported setup.
5. Cybex seated lateral raise - direct side delt work for shoulder width, without relying on momentum.
6. Prime pec deck - finishing chest with a shortened position squeeze and controlled reps.

Keeping it simple by repeating the fundamentals and getting better at these exercises over time. Finished off with some posing and a protein shake 🤤

Time and time again, I see coaches and clients held back by limiting beliefs:

“Bad genetics.”
“I’m too overweight.”
“I’m too skinny to build muscle.”

As coaches, it’s our responsibility to have these conversations with our clients. Not to dismiss or reinforce those beliefs, but to help them build strategies to overcome them.

That takes consistent open dialogue, regular check-ins, and a focus on the fundamentals: daily steps, nutrition, and training.

Small wins compound over time. With the right support, habits, and mindset, those limiting beliefs can be conquered. 💪

One of the biggest reasons clients don’t get the results they want isn’t because the program doesn’t work, it’s because I don’t have the information I need to make the right adjustments.

Your weekly check-in isn’t just another task. It’s how I track your progress, identify what’s working, and fix what’s not. If you don’t submit your weight, progress photos, training performance, adherence, or feedback, I’m left guessing. Coaching should never be based on guesswork.

Skipping check-ins or forgetting to log your data doesn’t just slow my ability to coach, it slows your progress.

The clients who consistently get the best results are usually the ones who consistently communicate. They stay accountable, they provide honest feedback, and they trust the process.

Remember, we’re a team. I’ll always do everything I can to help you reach your goals, but I need you to meet me halfway.

Consistency isn’t just about turning up to the gym. It’s about turning up for every part of the process.
