Elements of Nature | Water The ocean doesn’t hurry, and it doesn’t stop. In many of our traditions, ocean water is medicine. It holds movement, depth, and memory. 🌊 Salt cleanses. It pulls out what doesn’t belong and helps us heal. 🌊 Tides remind us that everything has a rhythm. We come in and go out, rest and return. 🌊 Depth teaches us that calm and power can live in the same place. What’s on the surface isn’t the whole story. 🌊 Memory: the ocean carried our ancestors. It knows grief, and it knows survival. For many of us, it’s still a place where we pray, release, and remember. Interested in a workshop, training or book talk? Book Excerpt from Restorative Justice Practices: Circle Keeping for Community Healing In a circle, everything said is valid because it comes from your truth and personal experience. The act of sitting in a circle means embodying the values and guidelines set forth. It’s more about the process and your thoughts than simply waiting for your turn to speak. Communication is vital, fostering momentum and continuity until the circle naturally concludes.
