Touch gravity. See the wind. Feel the sound. Do the impossible. “Enamelon” was birthed by eliminating the need to control without compromising on predictable out comes. True collaboration is like teaching a kid to ride a bike. In the beginning there is guidance, and initial push, and the confort of understanding it until there is just flow. It is in this “flow” that we find our unique artistic voices, expressions of love, and pain, and experience, told purely through creation. We were our her for that reason to create. And inspire others to find their voices within. This is how we create impact and continue the momentum of life’s pendulum. We flow, we apex, we convert energy and change direction, and repeat. The source of energy is pure love.

Behind every smile, is a pair of eyes yearning to have a story understood. If you pay enough attention, those stories are easy to read. As smiles artisans, we are the translators of those stories, and the patients are the author. It is our responsibility to tell those unique stories with integrity and pure intention. The catch is that we are telling those stories in a language without words. One that is passed from source to creator to creator. We preserve what powerfully you. We do this by identifying the essence. Essence is the fundamental, most important quality or core nature that makes something what it is.

In Aesthetics; respecting the biological system and function, is at the foundation of what we do on every case.

our philosophy, comprehensive care is the minimum standard for every case: optimizing form and function, respecting biology, preserving natural tooth structure, and planning for longevity. That foundation is the starting point for everything we create.

Every case is approached through an aesthetic lens. We consider the relationship between the teeth, the lips, the face, and the individual—what needs to be restored, what deserves to be preserved, and what can be reimagined.

For us, the realm of cosmetic dentistry begins when we build upon that foundation through artistic expression: interpreting a shared vision between patient, clinician, and ceramist to create something uniquely personal.

The most beautiful thing about this transformation isn’t her new smile. It’s what that smile means to her. 🤍

Today is a time to reflect on what we’re thankful for and one of the things I’m most grateful for is the trust patients place in us to help them feel confident again. Because sometimes, dentistry isn’t really about teeth. It’s seeing the change in the way they speak, laugh, take selfies and experience life’s little moments without thinking twice about their smile. That’s the part of aesthetic dentistry that never gets old.

For more than 10 years, she lived with a smile she was never happy with following her previous dental treatment. And after a decade, she deserved more than simply replacing a few crowns. She deserved a smile that finally felt like her own. To achieve that, we couldn’t simply replace what was there. We needed to rethink the entire foundation.

Her six upper front teeth had previously been restored with crowns that lacked the natural proportions, shapes, colour, translucency and the relationship to the surrounding gums and lips needed to create a harmonious smile.

So we approached her transformation through our ABC philosophy: Align. Brighten. Craft.

✨ ALIGN | @invisalign
We began by repositioning her teeth, bringing the protruded teeth back and broadening the arch in order to establish a proper foundation for everything that would follow.

✨ BRIGHTEN | @philips Zoom Whitening
Once the teeth were properly positioned, we professionally whitened her natural teeth, to create a brighter, more harmonious canvas.

✨ CRAFT | Handcrafted Porcelain
New porcelain restorations were meticulously designed and handcrafted with incredible precision, artistry and attention to detail by Dani (@danihaiduc_) and the talented team at @Restore.DentalLab all bonded under absolute isolation!

The result? A harmonious smile with her lips, smile line, facial proportions and overall facial aesthetics to create something that looks natural, balanced and most importantly, uniquely hers.

To our wonderful patient, thank you for trusting me, our team and the process. Seeing you smile with confidence is a reminder of why we do what we do!

Would you glue something together in a hot shower? 🚿

Probably not, but that gives you a surprisingly good idea of the environment a dentist is working in when we bond a ceramic restoration inside the mouth.

A study measuring household showers with water around 40°C found relative humidity averaging approximately 88–91% during showering (Kostecki et al., 2024).

Now compare that to your mouth.

Without proper isolation, the intraoral environment has been measured at >95% relative humidity (Kameyama et al., 2011).
And with cotton rolls alone, 100% relative humidity was found in every subject studied (Haruyama et al., 2014).

So, for me, sorry optragate and cotton rolls but buccal retraction is not the same thing as isolation. Moving the cheek and saliva out of the immediate way may improve access and visibility but when we’re adhesively delivering a handcrafted ceramic restoration, it is mandatory to control of the entire environment.

That’s why you’re seeing all of this preparation:
🦷 Rubber dam
🧵 Floss ligatures
🔩 B4 clamps
💧 Complete moisture control
🤍 A customized, handcrafted ceramic crown being precisely delivered

Studies show when a single tooth was properly isolated under rubber dam, relative humidity dropped to approximately 45–50%, essentially the same as the surrounding room at ~51% RH (Haruyama et al., 2014).

Think about that difference! We’re essentially taking a hot-shower environment and turning it into a controlled room environment before bonding your restoration.

Why go through all that effort? Because when someone invests in their smile, the goal isn’t simply to make it look beautiful on the day it’s inserted. The goal is to create the cleanest, most controlled and predictable environment possible so we can respect the adhesive protocol, the ceramic, the tooth and ultimately give that restoration the best opportunity to perform beautifully over time.

The details behind it are what make the difference and that’s what dentistry without compromise looks like.

A smile cannot be rebuilt with zirconia alone. First and foremost, it requires a healthy biological foundation.

The patient presented with unaesthetic dental restorations, discomfort, and impaired masticatory function.

Beneath the existing restorations, the teeth were severely compromised and could no longer be preserved. In the mandible, the implants showed significant bone loss and active infection, accompanied by extensive purulent discharge.

The treatment had to address four essential objectives simultaneously:

• eliminate the infection and restore tissue health;
• rebuild a stable foundation;
• establish a balanced occlusion;
• achieve a natural, esthetic result.

We digitally planned the entire case, beginning with the ideal position of the future restorations. Using guided surgery, we placed the implants in the planned positions.

The rehabilitation was completed with fixed zirconia bridges in an All-on-6 configuration—FP2 iBar for the maxilla and FP3 for the mandible @restore.dentallab

The outcome is about more than a new, bright smile. By balancing the occlusion, the patient can once again chew properly, speak comfortably, and smile with confidence.

Biology. Health. Esthetics. Function.
Four elements that must work together to achieve a stable long-term result.

The best ceramics deserve the best delivery. No compromises. 🦷✨

Swipe → because just like this carousel, the full picture matters.

We see a lot of before-and-afters in dentistry. What we don’t see enough of is what happens behind the scenes to make those results possible. What you’re seeing here is the delivery of handcrafted porcelain restorations under ABSOLUTE rubber dam isolation, controlling the environment, protecting the adhesive field and allowing every step to be carried out with precision.

For the patient, this is an investment in their smile.
For our ceramic colleagues, every restoration represents hours of artistry, passion, precision and dedication.
And as dentists, we need to deliver their work with that exact same level of attention.

Beautiful ceramics deserve:
✨ meticulous planning
✨ meticulous isolation
✨ meticulous bonding

This is because adhesive dentistry is highly sensitive to contamination. Saliva and moisture can negatively affect bonding to ceramic and tooth structure, which is why isolation during adhesive procedures is so important (Aboush, 1998; Bourgi et al., 2023).

Because the final result isn’t just about how the restorations look. It’s about how every step was executed to get there. This is the part of aesthetic dentistry you usually don’t see.

Beautiful dentistry ... from fabrication to final bond.

Continuous lab communication is an underrated step by most dentist. Having a team to analyze prep design allows me to understand what my ceramist needs from me to create the teeth I want. The collaboration on the shape, size, and contours of the teeth is pivotal. When I refer to lab communication, I don’t mean me telling the ceramist what I want and forcing them to make what I say. I mean putting my ego aside and having open communication about where I can clinically improve to allow the ceramist to do their job the best. A lot of dentists fail to reach the next level because they don’t understand where they are making errors because they don’t ask. Collaboration and communication are two way streets. “You don’t know what you don’t know until you know it!”
