Motivation Monday. Let’s talk legacy 🖤🎨🏛️ First, THANK YOU Baltimore for the love, culture, and creative energy that filled the room for HEIRS & ARCHITECTS: Building What Was Denied exhibition opening during “Art & Vibes” at @the_belounge. The city showed up from near and far and turned an opening reception into a true cultural moment🙏🏽✊🏽🖤🗾

If you missed the opening, the collection is still available and ALL works are for SALE🖼️🎨

This exhibition is rooted in a powerful idea: we are both heirs and architects. We inherit legacy from those before us and design the future by reclaiming space, reshaping narratives, and building what was once denied🏛️📐

Collecting art is one of the most powerful ways to support culture while building value💪🏽💯 Unlike most purchases, artwork does NOT depreciate. As artists grow, their work grows in value.

And YES, collecting is easier than most people think.

Flexible payment plans are available. Think financing furniture or booking a flight on Klarna, except the process is much simpler and designed to make collecting accessible

Support living artists. Start your collection. INVEST in CULTURE🧱✨

Browse the curated Heirs & Architects collection through the BE Lounge gallery link in @artbaeonline’s bio.

We love a good framing walkthrough!!

This project was at the end of framing phase where everything was being inspected and final design decisions were being made before closing in the walls with drywall.

Today my Mother said “Today was the best day ever” and my heart is full. She was insistent on not doing anything today to celebrate her 80th birthday (her reason was because we threw her a huge 75th), but that wasn’t a reasonable request so I got on a family group chat and we had a great brunch to love on her. She was completely surprised.
She is the glue that holds us all together and has been that my entire life. She has not only loved on us, but loved on all of my friends too. Our house was the hang out house so everyone knew my parents (our pool parties are legendary-iykyk). She let us live, without punishment, through the baby powder and snowball fights inside of the house 😂🤪. We were a lot, but she has always been the most loving, selfless, caring, kind, giving, generous, sweet human on earth. I knew at an early age I had to share her with the world, because anyone who knows her loves her. I thank God everyday that He chose her to be my Mother and best friend. She knows where most all of the bodies are buried 🫣 She is my rock! She is also one of the strongest women I know as a 24 year breast cancer SURVIVOR. I was going to post pictures from her 75th birthday bash but I broke down realizing how many of our loved ones who were there that aren’t here this year and it’s only been 5 years. 😞
She is 80 today and I’m so happy I have her here to celebrate her and all that she means to me, and to all who know and love her!

I will share what someone recently shared with me. Spend as much time as you can with your family and friends, especially your parents. Take the pictures because time flies and you want all of the memories you can capture.

Send my mother some birthday love! She’s a real one from day one 🥰🎂

🚨 Attention Homeowners, Electricians, and Real Estate Investors! 🚨

We’ve encountered a free service entrance cable issue at a house we’re currently working on, and it’s crucial to address this immediately! ⚡️🛠️

Why is this important? Free service entrance cables are a common problem in older homes that haven’t had electrical upgrades. This can pose serious safety risks and lead to electrical failures.

What you need to do:

Inspect your service entrance cable to ensure it’s up to code.
Hire a licensed master electrician to handle any necessary upgrades or repairs.
For our fellow electricians:
Make sure to review NEC Article 230 (Services) and Article 338 (Service Entrance Cable) to stay informed and ensure compliance.

Let’s work together to keep our homes and properties safe! 🏡🔧

Thank you for your attention to this important matter. Let’s make our homes safer, one upgrade at a time! 💪⚡️
