What happens when you create a space specifically for creators? ❤️💛💚 While working on creator partnerships for Jerk & Jollof Festival, we wanted creators to have more than an invitation—they needed a space to connect, create, and enjoy together. That became the Creator Corner. We kept it simple: a dedicated table, comfortable seats, games like Ludo and Dominoes, and a space for creators to get food, sit, meet, and take a break from the festival. Watching the table fill with conversations, food, and laughter was the best part. 🥹 For us, creator partnerships aren’t only about attendance or posts; the experience matters too. A look at the Creator Corner we brought to life for @originaljerkandjollof 2026. 💚💛❤️ 🧠& 📹: @lebenemawutor Assist: @fafali.mawu_ ✂️: @kofigramm P.S. We tried our best to tag everyone featured — if we missed you, let us know so we can tag you! #creatorpartnerships #influencermarketing #eventexperience

Last night, NextGen had the opportunity to watch The Perfect Match, which follows Jacob Marfo and his son Ezra’s powerful journey to find a stem cell match to help combat Ezra’s leukaemia. It also features the story of Ufuoma and Revee’s stem cell journey. And after the film, so many members of our community showed up by learning mor and highlighting just how important it is to register as a stem cell donor and be there for families searching for their match. As well as increasing the diversity in the stem cell registry! Thank you to everyone who came, listened, shared, and helped shine a light on the importance of stem cell donation. ♥️ #ThePerfectMatch #StemCellDonation #StemCellDonor #swab4ezra

“With God all things are possible. With Jesus all things are possible.” 🙌🏾 Thank You, Heavenly Father, for a massively successful inaugural Don’t Break Ultra Marathon!🔥🔥🔥 To our incredible team, amazing volunteers, resilient registrants and runners, spectacular sponsors, and every person who supported, prayed, gave, shared, encouraged, and walked this journey with us—THANK YOU! We made it here by the grace of Jesus Christ. Not by power. Not by might. But by the Spirit of God. What began as a vision became a reality, and all glory, honour, praise, and adoration belong to Jesus! This was the first—but it will not be the last. DON’T BREAK. KEEP MOVING. 💙🏃🏾‍♂️ #DontBreakCanada #DontBreakUltraMarathon #DontBreak #KeepMoving #DefeatingDepression MentalWellness AllGloryToJesus Edmonton

💃🏾🔥 WE’RE BRINGING THE RHYTHM TO THE TRAILS! 🥾💚 It’s 7 days to the epic Hike ‘N’ Snack event and we are throwing the spotlight on @_deborah.k. We’re thrilled to welcome back Deborah Kissi to ADNC’s 3rd Annual Hike ‘N’ Snack KeepFit Initiative! If you joined us for our Black History Month celebration, you may remember Deborah from the incredible Afrofusion dance workshop she led. We’re excited to have her back, this time to get us moving and energized before we hit the trails! 🔥 An Edmonton-based Afrofusion dance artist, educator, and fitness facilitator, Deborah’s work beautifully bridges West African dance traditions, including Kpanlogo, Adowa, and Azonto—with Afrobeat, cardio, and functional fitness. Her approach combines rhythm, strength, endurance, mobility, coordination, cultural expression, and joy, creating inclusive movement spaces for people of different bodies and experience levels. For Deborah, dance is more than movement, it’s a pathway to wellness, cultural connection, confidence, and community. So lace up your shoes and come ready to dance, sweat, connect and MOVE WITH PURPOSE! 💚 Let’s warm up together, find our rhythm, and then hit the trails! 🥾🔥 #ADNCHikeNSnack #DeborahKissi #Afrofusion #HikeWithPurpose #CommunityWellness EdmontonEvents DanceAndWellness

“SHASivaaal” was a spectacular SUCCESS! 🎪 This year’s elevation~celebration consisted of 3 of my favourite things: beautiful humans, movement, and of course, some GRUB! 💃🏽👟🍕 A special THANK YOU & shout-out to @joshcapss creator of @streetstepfitnessyeg and co-owner of @rastylezstudio for crafting up our V⚡️BEY routine! 🙌🏽 It was the BEST surprise not knowing what song we were gonna step to. I left all of that in Josh’s hands and he more than DELIVERED! 💯 As an instructor myself, it was SO NICE to turn my thinking brain off, follow someone else’s lead, and simply be the participant! And YES, in my world, that is a BRILLIANT birthday blessing!!! 😂🙌🏽🎉
