🇮🇹 Italian excellence: Dark Power Metallers @draconicon.official, renowned for their exceptional compositional and technical prowess, recently unveiled their new line-up and announced their new album, “EMPIRE”, for early 2027! Time to meet the band properly. ⚔️ Name. Role. 🤔 One old-school favorite. 😳 One new-generation favorite. 🎶 Who has the best taste in the band? 👀 • @grymhunter - Lead Vocals & Rhythm Guitar • @alexmoth_ - Lead Guitar • @simon.borgen - Violin & Backing Vocals • @filippo_scrima - Bass & Backing Vocals • davetomadini - Drums 🎶 🧲 FFO: Kamelot, Powerwolf, Sabaton PR: 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗴𝗲 ᴳᴸᴼᴮᴬᴸ Previous acclaim for the band: 87 / 100 “... they demonstrate an impressive level of songwriting and musicianship… They show a fine sense of balance in arranging the ornamental elements, which can easily become excessive.” ( Burrn!) 8,5 / 10 “This is a band who have morphed from an obviously impressive but familiar sounding Power Metal band into a powerful unit that are looking to push the Power Metal genre into different, more innovative territories …” (Ave Noctum) 8 / 10 “All songs of the album are unique in its proposal and each has great arrangements. Nothing sounds the exact same in the arrangements from one song to another.” (@metaltempleofficial) 8 / 10 "’Pestilence’ isn't an album you can just listen to casually; you really need to let it sink in, because then all the nuances, everything DRACONICON wanted to express on this theme, will truly come to life … impressed me.” (@powermetalde) 8 / 10 “DRACONICON swings the hammer in a way that many bands in this genre have not managed to do for a long time!” (Breakout Magazine) 8 / 10 “DRACONICON have taken their sound to a new level and moving away from the concept album of their debut “The Dark Side of Magic” will serve them well as there are individual tracks that easily stand on their own for listeners to grasp onto … an impressive follow up album.” (The Metal Resource)
