There is so much happening around us and we are often nervous about what it all means. God has purposed your life and mine. God has a plan for us and that plan will lead us through ups and downs but it will have us arrive at the desired end. We have to trust God. In fact one of the lessons life is teaching us is that if we are to make same and sound we must replace stress with trust. God has big work for those with big trust!

There is so much craziness happening today. We have not forgotten Brianna Taylor and today we see what is recommended to her family and our community as justice. We can be discouraged or we can rise in hope and stand for righteousness. The hour has come for the people if God to unite our voices and declare “This saith the Lord!” We can not let a people who do not claim our Christ, the babe born in a barn and reared in a ghetto, killed by the powerful of his day. We must speak of the God who liberated his people and called out his church. Join me praying for God to “Show Yourself Mighty!” Our help is the Lord! When my son heard we were headed to a game…… He understood the assignment. Team lost but we won! Family time cannot be an option, it is a priority. “The days are long but the years are short.” Pop-Pop, Son and the Baltimore Grands at the game. It is a wonderful expereince to have both my sons preaching. This week we stood in three different pulpits lifting the same gospel. They are serious about this work and I pray for them daily. We stood yesterday in different cities, different time zones, and different states. Thank God for what such a blessing. This is not easy work but I thank God for their calling to it.
