Second Olympics done and dusted.

Grateful for the opportunity to represent New Zealand on the world stage once again. I wish I could’ve showcased more of my skiing in finals, but that’s the way it goes sometimes.

Congrats to the all the boys, especially @brendanmackay @sildaru @alexferreiraski for locking out the top three spots. Unreal skiing all around.

To my parents, family, and friends, thank you for the love and support over these past four years. I wouldn’t be here without you.

@rtfreeski , thank you for always being in my corner. I appreciate everything you’ve done to help me get here.

@thenzteam , thank you for backing me and giving me the opportunity to share our sport with the world.

Skiing, thank you for everything you’ve given me. Nothing but love for this sport and this community.

Alberta-based freestyle coach Rex Thomas is currently in Cortina, Italy, at the Olympic Winter Games, coaching athletes on one of sport’s biggest stages!

We caught up with Rex to talk about the path to the Games, the athletes he’s working with, and what it means to represent Alberta at the highest level.

7 months post op!!!

Saying goodbye to the bib. After many years on the road, traveling the world, skiing and competing with some of the best people I know — I’ve decided it’s time to listen to my body and retire from competing.

This feels like the right choice at this point in my journey. It’s definitely bittersweet to close this chapter with the NextGen team! Grateful beyond words for the opportunities, the support, the ski community and the growth I’ve experienced.

The real world is a little intimidating but I’m excited to explore what’s next. Still dreaming of clicking back into my skis again and enjoying some soul skiing!

Big love to everyone who’s been part of the journey 🫶🏼
