Leadership is service, and we were proud to show up for a cause that matters across Oklahoma.

Members of WC GTBR and the GTBR leadership teams volunteered at Top of the Town, Oklahoma Veterans United’s rooftop fundraiser. Together, we helped welcome guests, serve, and support an evening with a meaningful purpose.

Top of the Town brings people together to experience downtown Tulsa while raising support for Oklahoma Veterans United. That support helps connect veterans across our state with housing services, suicide prevention resources, and employment opportunities.

Oklahoma is home to more than 278,000 veterans. For those facing housing instability, isolation, or barriers to employment, access to support can make a real difference.

We’re already looking for ways we can support next year. We’re grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside one another and stand with the veterans who have served us. 🇺🇸

🏡 Protecting the door is just as important as opening it.

GTBR Realtists Carmeka and Rey attended the Protecting What’s Yours workshop hosted by Northside Neighbors and The University of Tulsa College of Law, and the information shared fits right into the work we’re doing through our 1,000 Doors to Wealth Initiative.

Homeownership is about more than getting the keys. 🔑 It’s also about understanding how to protect your property, plan for your family’s future, and preserve what you’re building for the next generation.

That’s why we make it a priority to stay connected, keep learning, and bring accurate, useful information and resources back to our community.

Through 1,000 Doors to Wealth, we’re not just talking about getting families into homes. We’re talking about what happens after the door opens: protecting ownership, building wealth, and creating a legacy. 💙💛

One Door Changes Everything.

😂 A little behind the scenes because the work doesn’t magically do itself!

GTBR Realtist members Soup Carter and Rey Tallent bringing in the food and having a good time while doing it. 💙

There was a whole lot happening behind the scenes to make 1,000 Doors to Wealth come together, from setting up and feeding our guests to making sure everyone felt welcomed and had what they needed.

This is what teamwork and community look like. 🏡🚪 And somehow, we’re gonna find a reason to laugh while getting it done. 😂

We love when a community event feels more like a big family cookout! 💛

GTBR had such a good time supporting the Spreadin’ Hope Back-to-School Bash today. There was music, Valerie Hardin performing, hot dogs and burgers on the grill, plenty of vendors, helpful resources for parents, backpack giveaways, drawings, and a whole lot of community love.

This is what it looks like when people come together to make sure our children and families feel supported going into a new school year. Thank you to everyone who helped make today special! 🎒📚

🏡 You do not need to be pre-approved to start learning.

GTBR Board Member Reynelda “Rey” Tallent is reminding future homebuyers that education can start before approval.

No shame.
No pressure.
No need to have everything figured out before you show up.

If you want to buy one day, this is the room to be in. 🚪✨

The energy in the room was amazing, and the connections were even better. ☕✨

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Sip & Strategize! We had lenders, title companies, financial advisors, retirement advisors, a reverse mortgage lender, real estate professionals, community members, and actual home buyers in the room looking for information and guidance.

This is exactly why we created this space: real conversations, real resources, and real connections.

Look out for the next one. You won’t want to miss it!

Yesterday @reyofsunshine1 & I hosted an event & she shared with the group based on what God gave her. I did not realize that I needed that message as much as I did. 🌷

The name of the event “In full bloom…or still becoming?! Both are beautiful” 😭🥹 based on on Philippians 1:6 God is still working on what He started. 🌷

Some notes from yesterday 📝
- Everything around is coming to life again
- Still becoming is the part we don’t always romanticize
- To everything there is a season
- Just because you are not in full bloom yet, doesn’t mean you’re behind ✨
