Practical & soothing; mom always said the mozzies will attack once the rain comes (well....they do sometimes), so lemongrass is synonymous with that memory. Merge that with the reimagination of what home feels while the rain poursc and you get Kampung Rain.

Finally found a pocket of time to reflect and look back on ‘Aku Bersaksi…’ (I Bear Witness), after its closing last week.

Thank you to everyone who came by, sent kind wishes and prayers, checked in on the work or simply crossed paths with me throughout this journey. I truly appreciate and acknowledge every conversation, presence and gesture 🙏🏽

The biggest takeaway for me was conceptualising and pulling this work together within such a short and intensive period. Somehow, every collaborator, friend and creative I hoped to work with said yes even at the very last minute 🥲 iykyk.

Every audience member seemed to connect with different elements of the work, asking questions and sharing reflections that I’m still slowly unpacking myself. Perhaps that’s what witnessing is too.

Thank you to the Arts x Tech Lab team at @nacsingapore for inviting me and for allowing this solo exhibition to exist within a building that has itself witnessed many layers of my own growth. Glad to debut this for International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA) 2026 Singapore Congress too. I realised this work finally allowed me to (re)introduce and (re)share what I do and how my journey started in 2013.

Big shout out to @hariharan_vanan for everything!

This was never a solo effort. It belongs to everyone who made it possible.

Still pinching myself that I got to represent BytePride - Bytedance Singapore Pride ERG - to host the first InterTech session of the year! 🌈 🥰 What a special evening bringing together close to 100 Pride ERG leaders and allies across tech — plus getting to host a conversation with the fabulous @cheeyangmusic and fangirling over their Legendary performance, hear from June Chua of @thetprojectsg , and fundraise for the shelter ❤️ Such moments are great reminders of how powerful we can collectively be in building communities for people to show up authentically and champion inclusion together! 🥳🥳🥳

Over the last 6 years plus, I made a best friend, we travelled the world together, we’ve been through some really weird ringers, we shared some really good jokes and conversations, and we got married. And to all the people who love us as we love them, thank you for being part of our journey.
