POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Shared a brilliant panel discussion with Hong Kong based Indonesian artist Riar Rizaldi and RMIT media lecturer Shweta Kishore - we experienced two of Riar’s works ‘the right to do nothing’ and ‘larung’ and then talked about them addressing concerns of political and ethical responsibilities in arts practice, post-colonial cultures, listening spaces, field recordings and radio art.. photos taken by Dr. Polly Stanton

Thanks to Shweta, Polly, Re.vision Network and Liquid Architecture for having me as part of the panel ❤️

INDONESIAN TITLES AT THE 37TH SGIFF

The Singapore International Film Festival arrives earlier this year, and just like previous years, we’re highlighting all the Indonesian titles featured in this year’s programme.

Kamila Andini and Edwin return to SGIFF with their respective award-winning features, FOUR SEASONS IN JAVA and SLEEP NO MORE. Asmara Abigail stars in Natasha Tontey’s exploratory short, alongside many more Indonesian co-productions set to premiere in Singapore from 21 October to 1 November 2026.

Which titles are on your watchlist at this year’s SGIFF? Let us know in the comments, and see you at the festival!

VIAFARINI
Organizzazione per l’Arte Contemporanea
Strangers’ Land
Rassegna di Cortometraggi
A cura di Patrycja Wojciechowska

Data e Orario: Martedì 27 Ottobre 2026 | Ore 18:30 – 21:00
Sede: Viafarini.work, Via Marco d’Agrate 33, Milano

Coordinamento: Zuzanna Niespor
