I’m lucky enough to have an amazing job. The live commentary is just a small part of it though. We produce the @worldclimbing Climbing Club, a daily show with results, interviews, features and more. We’re always on the lookout for extra content for the off season, Athlete of the week, Golden Moments…everything 🔥
.
None of this would be possible without the incredible team I work with. From the staff at World Climbing, @richaspland and @ilvettojr to the filmmakers and editors with @obsess_medias
.
Too many people to tag here. But @anthony_hlln @leo_pernin and @epmedias are the ones filming and editing the show. I couldn’t do what they do. ❤️

Mila is a World Champion 🥇

Mila Piatek has been crowned World Youth Champion in speed climbing at the World Climbing Youth Championship in Arco, Italy.

In the course of the competition, she also broke the Oceania women’s open speed record, with a time of 7.70s.

A standout achievement for Mila who has worked so hard for this moment.

We are incredibly proud 🙌

🤩 It is so great to see team members back again for another shot at the World Youth Championships.

😃Keegan Lim (Vic) is set to run the speed wall again, this time in Arco, Italy at the @worldclimbing World Youth Championships. 👏🏾

🟢 Looking forward to competing again, @kgx_.lim spoke to @ausclimbing saying,

“I’m really excited to be representing Australia again at the Youth Championships in Arco. Having competed internationally once before, I have a much better idea of what to expect, and I’m looking forward to putting that experience into practice. In the lead up to the event I’ve been focusing on improving the first half of the wall, and I’m excited to see how much that training is gonna help me in competition.
One of the things I’m looking forward to most is travelling to Italy and experiencing such an amazing event again alongside athletes from around the world. I’ve only been climbing for around 2 years, so it’s a great opportunity to continue learning and developing as a climber. My main goals are to gain as much experience as possible, perform to the best of my ability, and enjoy every moment of representing Australia.”

🟡 It’s going to be an amazing experience for you Keegan and we look forward to watching your runs.🦘 Good luck. 🍀

😃 An absolute powerhouse, Christel will be competing in both the lead and boulder teams at this year's @worldclimbing Youth World Championships in Arco, Italy. It is hard to believe this will be Christel’s last Youth World Championships! 😯

🟢Looking forward to competing in Arco @christel.kotze spoke with @ausclimbing saying,

“I am very excited to be traveling to Arco to represent Australia at the Youth World Championships. As this is my final year in youth, I’m aiming to make the most of this opportunity and enjoy it. I’m especially looking forward to competing alongside my friends and experiencing the energy of the event.”

🟡 You are not the only one excited to see you climb Christel, we all are here at home 🐨 too and will be cheering you on from AUS. Good luck! 🍀
