This angelic @sacredrites1008 Monochord called to me in Sedona. I was going to the Whole Foods next door and kept missing the opening hours for the "Healing Instruments" store in the next parking lot over. On the last day of the HEARTX retreat, everyone went back to the house after our favorite organic café @localjuicery and I was off on my own. I asked the owner Kelly to show me the most unique sound healing instrument in the store. He showed me THIS! A 30" portable Monochord that has 16 strings in C#, 1 string 2nd octave, 14 strings in 3rd octave, and 1 string in 4th octave. Tessie showed me photos on the walls of where they traveled all over the world like China and India, playing this Monochord on stage in front of hundreds or even thousands. It was inspiring.

They blessed me with an amazing private sound bath while sitting in the Monochord chair. Kelly played the monochair while Tessie was playing their @freenotes_by_richard_cooke wave in C/G, the Crystal Vibes singing bowls, a synthetic drum, a @grottasonora gong, a handheld Tibetan bowl, and more. My soul was moving and flowing. @sacredrites1008 has a vast collection of sound healing instruments. It was a dream.

This Monochord has origins with ancient Egypt and ancient Greece, where it is believed to open up portals to the angelic realms. I played it for @wearejared and the retreat group after our meditation. One girl was channeling and even singing with the angels. The energy was heavenly. Playing it felt divine. A true heart opener that resonates beyond.

This HEARTX Sedona Meditation/Yoga Retreat was transformational with @wearejared. 6 days and 5 nights of true epicness! We did JM Vinyasa Yoga 5 times, meditation/Sadhana practice 4 times with mantras/malas, and hiked in the Sedona trails 4 times (Bell Rock, Cathedral Rock, Broken Arrow, and Airport Mesa). I did 4 healing sessions and private Rapé ceremonies with such amazing souls, held a sound bath for the group in Raven's Cave, provided 2 mini sound baths, did Reiki on myself twice (and even others next to me felt it), had a private sound bath from @sacredrites1008 in a Monochord chair, and had a beyond celestial session with @ascensionchamber.

My favorite was when @wearejared led an insane Trataka meditation with my Mystical Magical White Sage Cleansing Candles and it was BANANAS! (shop link in my bio) We activated our third eye chakras and went interdimensional, visioned crazy $%*&, astral traveled, spoke with aliens, and indigenous languages with other civilizations. During the Broken Arrow hike when we meditated at the end, I had 3 indigenous downloads in the ceremonial grounds and saw hundreds of ceremonies there flash before my eyes. I truly awakened into my power during this retreat. I self-applied Rapé 2-4 times a day to constantly clear out, reset, and recharge, if anyone was wondering how I had the energy and capacity to do all this in technically 4 full days. The Spirit of Rapé helped me so much. The vortexes and lands of Sedona charged me so so so much. I was beaming. Literally.

And this all begins with yoga. Just getting on the mat and being guided by such a great teacher @wearejared with the most incredible teachings. (ironically half of us had @liforme mats)

Thank you to all that crossed my path in Sedona and Phoenix. My deepest gratitude to @wearejared @sallyschoice @richawniverse for hosting such an incredible retreat and allowing space for me to do what I do. I am grateful and blessed to give, to receive, to serve purpose. My heart is glowing immensely. I love you all so much. 🙏💛🙌

With Love,
The Happy Shaman

Mystical Magical Sound Bath in a CAVE in Sedona, AZ with @wearejared. Special for the HEARTX Sedona Meditation/Yoga Retreat. By far the coolest location I've done in my life. It echoed, it resonated, it was beautiful. Everyone enjoyed it so deeply with the utmost gratitude. @wearejared even joined in on the @koshisound chimes to complete all 4 elements, Fire, Air, Earth, and Water.

Also played is my favorite, the @freenotes_by_richard_cooke wave in A/E Low with the @deep_space_sound R1 mallet. And the @meinlsonicenergy Ocean Drum. I carried 6 sound healing instruments in a big pink bag on a hike in Bell Rock with intentions to play there and we ended up doing it in Raven's Cave. Thanks for the find @richawniverse! Mother nature surprised us this beautiful gift.

HEARTX Sedona Meditation/Yoga Retreat by @wearejared @sallyschoice @richawniverse. I'm so happy to be here and be back in a JM Vinyasa class. It's been 7 years since I've seen @wearejared in-person even though we see each other 3 times a week in his online meditation intensives. It's sooooooo good! I love our intimate yet powerful group of yogis. @atara_lunayoga @amelia.cj @jeff.setter @james.leah

to be seen without performing
to exist without tightening

Hawaii in black and white, seen through the creative eyes of @caroledessinger —
what a beautiful light she is.

to witness the world through her perspective,
and to watch her move so intuitively through her medium,
was a quiet kind of magic that felt like its own form of meditation and self expression.

missing these souls, these sounds, this softness, the surroundings, and everything in between.

The six days in Kona have been… something beyond words.
Not just a retreat… but a remembering.

It feels as if I’ve known each of you for lifetimes.
Like we didn’t meet here, we recognized each other here.

In the silence, in the laughter, in the shared tears, in the stillness between breaths… something sacred unfolded. And I will carry that with me to my final days.

I am deeply, deeply grateful for every conversation, every hug, every shared meal, every sunrise meditation, every moment of vulnerability and truth.

I’m grateful for the land…
for the ocean that held us,
for the wind that cleared us,
for the cats wandering between us like little guardians,
for the frogs singing us to sleep,
for every creature that reminded us we were part of something larger.

And to @wearejared, to @sallyschoice , to @richawniverse
thank you for allowing me to step into your dream 🤍🐳🏝️
It is no small thing to create a space where people can soften, open, and return to themselves.
You didn’t just host us, you held us!

And to every single soul that made this experience enchanting,
thank you for being part of my dream too.
For showing up as you are.
For loving as you do.
For trusting, sharing, witnessing, and being witnessed.

I want to honor each of you.
Not just for who you were there, but for who you are in the world.

I love you. Truly.

Until we meet again (in this lifetime or another)
may we walk gently,
love boldly,
and remember what we felt here.
