Rich Aybar in his studio for @10menmagazine. I imagine Rich makes everyone feel like they’re the art worth exploring - that’s the effect he had on me on this sunny day in FiDi as I stacked rubberized urns in his window to catch the afternoon light. Thanks for the trust and the kindness.

“Ordinary objects have certain identifiable purposes, but architect and designer Crina Arghirescu-Rogard is more compelled by their oft unnoticed yet equally momentous characteristics. This impulse is what lead her to curate Ghosts of the Mundane (on view through July 26) at the Nathalie Karg Annex Gallery on New York’s Lower East Side. In collaboration with art design consultant @aurorevullierme , the New York– and Paris-based Arghirescu-Rogard curated the creations of 17 talents that radiate intangible powers. @artistaaronyoung ’s weathered tire swing dangling from a 24-karat gold chain; @richaybar ’s cocooning, low-slung rubber chair; and @mr.lizhopkins ’s otherworldly fiberglass and resin lamp, for example, elevate the utilitarian through memory and wonder.”

Thank you for the feature on our Gallery Exhibition! @behdria @archdigestpro

When your friend invites you to her bday party in Morocco, you just don’t say no. Thanks Anna! For being a great friend, including me in your celebration, and for calling me to adventure! It came right when I needed it most. It was such an incredible experience, love Morocco, I met stellar people and made so many new friends for life. Thanks to you and Anatole for hosting all of us. I will never forget this time together. ⚡️🔥💜🙏🏽💜🔥⚡️ @messbrewster @chezmohamed @aspinall1986 @ellatoalgangar @richaybar @chicbyaccident @martinmichaelis @hubert_marot @angeliqueheidler @aja_hit @jacquesauberger @stephie_schwarz #morocco #taroudant #essaouira #taghazout #marrakech #versaillesfamily #adventure #travel
