🏈 UFL PIPELINE EXCLUSIVE: RICKIE JOHNSON
From a record setting career at Utah Tech to overcoming an Achilles injury, Rickie Johnson is back chasing his professional football opportunity.
🔥 THE RESUME
Johnson finished his Utah Tech career as the program’s all time leader in receptions with 158, while finishing second in career receiving yards with 2,057. He also owns the school’s single game receiving record after posting 277 yards on 9 receptions with 3 TDs against Southern Utah.

💪🏽 THE COMEBACK
Rickie played his senior season while dealing with a partially torn Achilles before eventually undergoing surgery in October 2024. He used 2025 to recover, train and prepare for another opportunity.

🎤 Rickie Johnson on his comeback:
“I never stopped believing I would play professional football, and I put everything I had into coming back better.”

⚡ THE UFL OPPORTUNITY
At the 2026 UFL St. Louis Showcase, Johnson put his athleticism on display with a 4.47 40, 42.5” vertical and 10’11” broad jump, earning recognition as one of the showcase’s offensive standouts. The UFL itself identified Johnson among the players who stood out offensively at the event.

🎤 Rickie Johnson on his opportunity:
“I want to make an impact as soon as I get there. I want to contribute, compete, and show what I’m capable of.”
He also made his mindset clear:
“Whatever team gives me an opportunity is going to get the best version of me.”

🔥 UFL PIPELINE’S TAKE
Johnson has the production, size, athleticism and playmaking ability to earn a UFL roster opportunity for 2027. His ability to track the football, create separation and make plays makes him an intriguing option for teams looking for another weapon at wide receiver.
And for Johnson, the mission hasn’t changed.
🎯 Get the opportunity. Make an impact. Chase the NFL.

“All glory to Him.” Johnson also Stated 🙏🏽 I can’t wait to see you land on a UFL team 🏆 I know wherever you land you’ll have a breakout season ✅! Congratulations and Good luck Rickie 🏆🙏🏽
