When we planted an Indian Mast tree AND a Bizmarquia Palm 5 years ago we had no idea how monstrous they’d become. One of them had to go so we called our tree team - Francisco and Sons - and they cut that lightning rod down. No more fretting every time we get a big storm 🙏🏻

Can stillness hold a story? La Sedeculta invites you to discover Truth Lies in Stillness, an exhibition by Ric Kokotovich that brings together wooden sculptures to explore the connections between body, matter, and memory. Through forms that evoke the human silhouette, the artist transforms Yucatán peninsula woods through carving and carbonization processes inspired by Japanese techniques. A proposal to look at stillness in a different way: not as absence, but as a state of presence and transformation. 🗓 September 17 🕖 7:00 p.m. 📍 Galería del Callejón del Teatro José Peón Contreras The exhibition can be visited until October 24. 🕙 Tuesday to Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
