Today at @ridgesidek9indy, we honor not only the brave first responders and service members of Ground Zero, but also the four-legged heroes of 9/11.

Swipe to the last slide to meet Salty and Roselle. These two incredible guide dogs safely led their owners out of the Twin Towers, even pausing amidst the chaos to comfort terrified bystanders along the way. 🐾

Say Hello to Xena!

Xena was a former client dog that had extremely high drive. Before meeting her last owner, Xena had been adopted 5 other times from shelters only to be returned.

This is something many of us trainers hear when talking about high drive working dogs that land in shelters. Wanting to do better by her, her new owner reached out to us for help. While she wasn’t a good fit for his home , he knew that Xena had potential. He didn’t hesitate to invest in her training for a moment and cheered her on every step of the way.

Here she is 6 months later with her new handler! Xena is on her way to serve Indiana Department of Corrections as a specialized detection K9.

I’m so grateful to her owner who reached out to us to make her journey of one of great success!

Xena is the example that it’s never too late to start training and rewrite your journey.
