It’s once again time for Ridgway Businesses to Gather with the purpose of meeting each other, sharing experiences and possibly learning something helpful. The topic of discussion will be shoulder season and how we can work together to bring in more business during the slower time of year. RACC will provide light snacks and beverages. We hope to see you there! #localbusiness #ridgwaycolorado #thinkoutside #shoplocal #ridgwaychamberofcommerce

Looking for things to do in Telluride this October?

October here is short, gold and a little quieter than summer. Swipe through for Original Thinkers, the Art Walk, Oktoberfest in Mountain Village, the Telluride Horror Show, lamplight tours of Lone Tree Cemetery, Pumpkins & Peaks and more.

One more for your calendar: the free gondola closes for maintenance Oct 26 and reopens Nov 20.

Planning on being at one of these? Comment SCHEDULE and I'll get you on my calendar to look at a couple of homes while you're here.

All the places we’re currently sampling in the American West for the Science on the Fly project— over 100 locations! Consistent, long-term monitoring across regions helps us understand long-term climate trends and in doing so, it can be used to help inform policy makers to help protect our rivers.

Some great moments from the past month, and far from all of it. While conditions are rapidly changing this year, one of the best parts about working for @rigsflyshop is the extent of the waters we are able to guide. There is still fishing to be had, you just need to be creative and keep an eye on those water temps! I’m glad to be giving the lower Gunnison and the Gorge a break during the now historically low flows and high temps, but these memories will stick with me until we are out on it again!
