Sojourner House’s 14th Annual Masquerade Ball is on November 22nd at the @providencegraduatehotel. Have you got your tickets yet? If not, don’t worry! There’s still time. Just click the link in our bio😊

This year, we’re inviting guests to join us in the ‘Enchanted Forest,’ a place where seeds of hope are planted and beauty blooms out of darkness. Here, amid moss covered tablescapes and twinkling lights, fairies (and their friends) will sip shimmering cocktails, feast on delectable hors d’oeuvres, find treasures at the silent auction, and enjoy different musical performances in every room.

Unsure what to wear to this magical gathering? Swipe above for inspiration!

We’ve tagged the creators so you can check out their work🌿🧚‍♂️✨

The White Horse at Kilburn Walk with my exercise pals for the afternoon @rillawolf42 @oliboo0604 ❤️❤️. Drive around many places locally and the landscape is dominated by The White Horse. The brainchild of a Victorian businessman and Headmaster, this figure was made in 1857.

They enlisted the help of kids from the local school which tbh you can tell as up close it does look like a 5 year olds version of a horse or the type of horse I can draw! 🤣🤣 Much better viewed from a distance.

Along the walk there’s handy footpath mounted signs with the distance you’ve walked and a great lung busting steep climb from the bottom of Sutton Bank 🥵🥵🥵
The view is amazing and on a clear day you can see for miles around. 👌👌

Not sure I’ll be visiting too soon again though as there is a serious lack of pub or cafe!!

Fantastic weekend organised by @anna_and_the_willow @heritagecraftsweekend2022
It was wonderful to see the wide range of incredibly talented people. A big thank you to all the wonderful volunteers from @ntfountainsabbey who suffered through the heat to keep everything running smoothly.

Fingers crossed for lovely weather and lots of visitors.

I've tagged the insta accounts of the other makers and demonstrators involved. I hope I've not left anyone out 😬 (there's a few that I think aren't on here). Please moan/comment below if I have!

See you next weekend xx

Why walk around with a boring surgical mask when you can get around in style like Doctor Plague? Amazing craftsmanship by @rillsleather

This fine fellow will also be available soon @mrchipsemporium in Whitby. He's called 'ol Beaky' and he's made from handstitched veg tan leather with a brass buckle and metal mesh in the eyeholes for added ventilation.

Finally finished this cardigan and so exited to show it off I haven't even tucked in the ends!! The yarn I needed to finish it went out of stock (I literally needed one ball) so I had to change how to finish it off 😅

A few Christmas Day highlights. ❤️ We did our best to upcycle, shop local, shop small and buy into less plastic this Christmas. Not perfect, but with two ecstatic girls, it was worth the effort. Rounded off a beautiful day up at Steve's mum and dad's, and even did a bit of hedgerow walking (measuring) with Steve's dad before the weather set in. 🥰
