This is 40.
Wow… wow… WOW. I’ve been staring at this caption for a week because I still don’t know how to put into words what my Birthday weekend meant to me. I had the best birthday of my entire life. Truly. My gratitude is through the roof and I am still speechless. Thank you for all the Birthday Love near and far❤️

I looked around that room and saw my favorite humans from all over the world — people who have been with me through every chapter, every era, every version of who I’ve been. And you all traveled to Philly on a holiday weekend… for me. Planes, trains, buses, automobiles. I will never, ever forget that. My heart could burst.

Stepping into 40? I have never felt happier or more at peace. I love my life. I love my husband. I love my friends. I love my career. I love my family & doggie. I love the woman I’ve become. Life is just so fucking beautiful, and I’m beyond excited for this next decade. Age is nothing but a number, baby — and my 12-year-old self would be screaming with pride.

This was the party I’ve dreamed about forever. Romeo + Juliet 1996, @bazluhrmann the chaos, the magic, the drama — my whole heart. To finally bring that vision to life with the best team ever… I’m still overwhelmed. I can still feel the love and energy in that room. I think I was quite literally elevated or perhaps floating 😂

Shoutout to my amazing man @chircharito , @frankybradleys , @maggiewaldman @dumbdarbs @davyfrancesco and Scott — you five CRUSHED it. I didn’t have to worry about a single thing. I got to show up and just live in the moment.
Shoutout to @djmenace316 and @wassupgina for giving me the greatest DJ set / playlist / sonic fever dream of all time.
You ALL understood the assignment and delivered beyond anything I could’ve imagined. Remember that time we got tattoos 😂 THANK YOU @mac.inkd ❤️

To anyone else entering a new decade or a new chapter — do not be afraid. Embrace it. Celebrate it. Be grateful to be alive. Life is wild and messy and gorgeous and so damn precious.

We met in our little white trash town exactly 20 years ago, so we threw a little white trash wedding to celebrate. Thanks to everyone who helped us bring the “Hills, Whores, and Liquor Stores” vibe to Baltimore.

On March 7th, I had the honor to stand by one of my best friends side as she married her best friend! (insert ugly cry) 😭

100+ people in Dominic Republic under one resort and we didn’t burn it down ;)
