Furniture by Architects Sculpture by Margaret Saliske at TSpace. I will be at the Archive Gallery with curator Mark McDonald from 2-5 August 23. This is the last day of the show. The Gallery is also open from 11-5 August 16 and 23.

Cardboard, corrugated. A material of packing cartons, transformed. Frank Gehry’s “Easy Edges” collection, on view now at ‘T’ Space, began as an experiment in the late 1960s and became an overnight sensation. These are architectural ideation made functional.

Strong. Sustainable. Radical in their humility. The same architect who would later shape titanium into the Guggenheim Bilbao began here: exploring what the most ordinary material could become. This is furniture you inhabit.

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of @klockeestate a breathtaking sunset and the soft flicker of candles created an unforgettable scene for the launch of @upstate_diary Issue 22.

As host of this beautiful gathering, Editor Kate Orne welcomed guests to linger late into the spring evening, toasting the new issue with exquisite, terroir-driven cocktails from the Klocke Estate Distillery and gathering around a masterfully prepared vegan dinner curated by the estate's culinary team. An evening we truly wish had never ended...

Our exhibition "Furniture By Architects & Sculpture by Margaret Saliske” opens June 14th at Archive Gallery.

This exhibition brings together architect-designed furnishings, fixtures, and objects alongside an installation of wall sculpture by Margaret Saliske. As the curator Mark McDonald notes, “In the context of ‘T’ Space, and alongside architecture and furniture, these sculptures can be read as models for imagined or speculative spaces. There is a push and pull in that ambiguity. The reverse can also happen: architectural models and furniture begin to read as sculpture.”

The exhibition will be on view through August, 23 at the Archive Galley, 60 Round Lake Rd, Rhinebeck, NY 12572

As the @diptyque candles flickered softly in the late spring breeze and the sky revealed a sublime sunset, we celebrated the launch of Issue 22 at the breathtaking @klockeestate with cocktails by Klocke Estate Distillery, and a masterfully prepared vegan dinner by a culinary team led by Chef Becky Kempter.
