It was around this time last year that I decided to do my yoga teacher training - I had no expectations or actual plan of what to do with my qualification 🤷🏼‍♀️ but fast forward six months since graduating and I'm pretty proud of where where mpd.yoga has got to in that time ☺️

The best bit about it all? meeting my PYC gang ❤️ Thank you for all the laughter and tears and good times over the 200hr of training. You were the best group of people I could have asked to share this journey with.

Here’s to all the exciting stuff to come in 2022 xx

✨ May your practice bring you home!

Yesterday @beawilkinsonyoga and I had an opportunity that we’ll forever remember & be grateful for - we led our first workshop filled with individuals that were curious, open and brave enough to carve out time for themselves, their breath and movement.

As we commit to experiencing sensation that the movement brings and the body manifests, and as we nourish our body with our breath, we can become more present to the experience that is our life.

We’re excited to announce that we’ll be holding space for you again on Tue eve 18 January with a new workshop to balance our yin & yang energy, surrender to both and liberate. Details are coming soon ✨

Any one else still feeling a bit of kilter with this whole pandemic business? Should I stay home? Should I get on public transport? Online yoga? Studio yoga? I miss people. I want hugs. Don’t come too close. Let’s lean in and talk. Keep some distance. Autumn sniffles or something more? Leftover Mercury retrograde vibes? Urgh!

This has always been my mantra. Maybe right now we’re making new shapes for how we move forward. But in the meantime, it’s ok to feel confused, frustrated, hopeful, wary, joyful, all the feels. It’s ok. Our nervous systems have been on high alert for a while, even if it’s just a low level hum. Be kind. Be gentle. Do what you need to look after yourself.

✨An Ending, A New Begining.✨
✨ Introducing @wendywonderflow ✨

It’s a new beginning says Christian, our lead teacher of the Yoga Teacher Training course, during the beginning of the closing ceremony. That was the end of the last module in July, the end of the 200 hours of YTT. The best 200 hours well spent. What a wonderful transformative experience to share this journey with you all beautiful souls.
I am so grateful our life crossed path. Thank you @thepoweryogaco and all the amazing teachers who shined lights on our yogic path.

Special thanks to our wonderful lead teachers @christiancoelhoyoga @loudementhon @elodie_movingdynamics Pete Cherry

And the awesome guest teachers @soyolifestyle @jaredmusiker @yogawithzaz @girlonthegreen @cloudiahillyoga @donnanobleyoga

Through the journey we learn about oneself and our community. Entering the stream, acknowledge we are part of the flow, part of the almighty ocean, it enlightened me.

The imagery of the ocean and its waves imprinted in me when Pete described to us this Yogic philosophy of unity. Integrating one's the body, mind and soul. Uniting the individual with the universe. Each wave is never separate from the ocean. We are one.

The beautiful and moving closing ceremony held a special space in my heart.

Every ending is a new beginning. Looking forward to what is yet to come in our new chapter.

I am taking this opportunity to introducing my new IG account dedicated to yoga. @wendywonderflow. Follow me to the moving meditation that yoga bring to our life, where I share the benefit of 'living in flow'.

I also take this opportunity to invite anyone who loves yoga and looking for a transformative life changing experience. Either a new career or deepen your own practice. PYC runs regular teacher training courses. Our next 200 hr yoga teacher training course will start on the 16th September led by the wonderful @soyolifestyle & @jaredmusiker.

We look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful community.

✨💖Love and abundance💖✨

The International Day of Yoga has been celebrated annually on Summer Solstice, 21 June since 2015.

I am truly grateful this year I started my yoga teacher training journey with the incredible groups of beautiful souls at @thepoweryogaco. I am grateful our life crossed path with every single one of you!

Together we reflect on the transformative power that yoga brings across the world, we gave thanks to the unity that yoga brings. We discover the sense of oneness with ourselves, the world and the nature. 🙏❤️🙏⭕️🙏

“Yoga is an invaluable gift of India's ancient tradition. It embodies unity of mind and body; thought and action; restraint and fulfillment; harmony between man and nature; a holistic approach to health and well-being. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature. By changing our lifestyle and creating consciousness, it can help in well being. “
—Narendra Modi, UN General Assembly Sep 2014. “

Thanks for the amazing pictures captured by @katemetzner @lanhamjp @beawilkinson_ @mariapachadominguez @rosazhyan and my tripod.
