We have chosen our families Bormioli Jars for three reasons that are very dear to us: so that the final consumer can see Grain after Grain the perfection and care in its selection; because everything must be reused for us and with the least possible environmental impact and because glass is the main element for food preservation 🌾🌾🌾

P L A Y I N G W I T H F O O D
As a chef, I love discovering new ingredients with flavors and textures I can play with and pair to create interesting dishes. And, as an artist, I worship nature and its surprising beauty and endless goodness. This dish is a perfect example of the combination of both with a serendipitous backstory. It pairs naturally hybrid black Italian rice with sea fennel (also known as paccasassi) an aromatic succulent that grows wild near the sea and marries beautifully with seafood. I’ve heard about this herbaceous plant for some time and was dying to taste it but hadn’t a clue where to find it..,so you can imagine my joy when I unexpectedly happened upon some while walking to the beach in Ibiza recently. At long last! I quickly foraged a bunch and brought it to Milan in my suitcase (an old habit as a diehard food lover). Back in Italy I visited @risobuono rice producer where I met Artemide, their field hybrid rice that is a cross between Italian basmati + black venere and perfect for rice salads. Bingo! I immediately knew this match was meant to be and the rest is Instagram history. Introducing my Artemide Rice Salad with Sea Fennel and Red Shrimp. The earthy flavor of whole grain rice meets a fresh, aromatic taste of the sea. Hope you like it as much as I do : ) Buon appetito❣️
