Between little bare feet stepping onto the living room floor, sleepy ears waking to the hums of _"Rangiye diye jao...go ebar jabar aage"_ on the morning radio. Drenched clothes and hands, painted red and purple with the joy of being. Faces unrecognizable yet beaming, with friends on the street, growing up was always about finding colour in the bleak. Painting the grass blue and sky yellow at 7-years-old, finding rare rainbows on drives across a rain-wet city, and tilting kaleidoscopes to make sense of the world was all for this. With songs and signs, as 'Rang Barse' blares on the speakers, may the sky always look like the alleys beyond our house on Holi. In an increasingly "shada kalo ei jonjale bhora mithye kothar shohore," may it always rain colours in our lives, as well.
Xposure wishes a colourful, vibrant and happy Holi to everyone.

It's a holly Jolly Christmas, she wakes up excited, running down with their 8 year old feet, to meet the big fat christmas tree which shades a bunch of gifts for her in all shapes and sizes. On the way she meets the traces of Santa coming to her home and giving her gifts, his big fat footprints all over, she is the happiest person today, Santa even ate the food she kept for him on the table, then when she finally sees the gifts she jumps at them and starts opening them. Behind her, she can hear her parents' footsteps which stops, she looks at them with a silent mischievous smile.

She knew it was them who got her the gifts, she knew that they wrapped the gifts, made those footprints and ate the food and left some crumbs as she heard them, laughing and having fun setting it up, it gave them joy, it brought them happiness. She has known it since she was 6, she is a big girl now.

The young boy all decked up in a cozy, warm puffer jacket holds his grandfather's hand, who has a muffler wrapped around his neck. They go off for an evening walk, as he listens to his grandfather talking about what's for dinner and how he will tuck in the little one under the blankets, that were warmed under the sun, all day. Walking down the lane, watched a young boy warming his cold hands by the fire lit by his grandfather. The same boy, now, all grown up, stays up at night to finish his syllabus and takes a break to go to the verandah at 3 in the morning only to find himself swimming through the fog and darkness. The dogs curled up with one another to keep themselves warm on a chilly night. He goes to sleep in the same blanket his grandfather tucked him when he was little. Early morning, he goes for a walk in the Maidan where he sees the horses far away in the fog, grazing and the elders having their shawls wrapped around their heads, protecting themselves from the cold and chilly winter breeze. They sip their warm tea while, chatting with their fellow friends about their knee pain getting worse at night during winters. In the biting cold of winter, where the winds howl and the world feels frozen, there’s a quiet joy—a reminder that even in the harshest moments, warmth finds its way through laughter, love, and the crackle of a fire.
