fr had to lock in rendering when i realized the deadline was near omg 😭, but in the end had decided to draw kael after reading his special story ;-;

There’s alot of meaning actually when i had planned this illust , where kael having wings when playing piano to represent him feeling free but the red strings shows how he is still under the pressure of his surroundings and lastly his child self crying and hiding himself by how he often gets compared for his grades !!

Overall i had fun drawing kael though i wish i could’ve add rael in here but yeaa my brain fried up so badly WHAGDHS CONGRATS AGAIN RIVAA !! 🫶✨✨

Thank you, Riva, for hosting this DTIYS, and congratulations on reaching 15k! 🥳🎉

I experimented a lot with this piece, and I'm kind of disappointed that I couldn't finish it the way I originally wanted. College kept me so busy that I barely had any time to work on it. I feel a little bad about that, and don't even get me started on the lighting. It ended up being all over the place 😭

Even so, I'm really happy that I got to participate! This was my first time drawing a piece with multiple characters interacting. Kael brought coffee for everyone to enjoy during a sunny afternoon at the park. It was from the café where he works part-time! XD

Personally, I really like how I drew Luca here! I thought he would turn out terribly, but he ended up being really fun to draw. Lychia and Rael were definitely the hardest for me, though. Maybe it was because of their poses. I'm so bad at drawing background so I just gave up so sorry T__T

As usual, another dtyis experimental piece! I played around with perspective and shading this time.

I wanted to explore the idea of Luca (@rivaiiwah ‘s character) being a photographer. Since he enjoyed street photography, I thought I should draw him taking pictures on a crosswalk. I thought this setting would effectively convey his passion in a visually engaging way. On top of that, I really wanted him to be the main focus, but I didn’t want the piece to be boring, so I drew mysterious pink figures walking around the crosswalk. I believe it helps draw attention to him since his clothes are blue. To add to that, I wanted to give him a new outfit! Based on his description, he seemed to have a cool and mature vibe. To reflect that, I chose a simple set of clothes while adding more color to represent his artistic side!

Sorry for the word vomit, but I hope ya’ll like it :D!

I think I signed myself up for too many ditys (((^^;) but here's one! @rivaiiwah It's Lucas ✨️
I based this off on how he has trouble expressing his emotion. The dark background and emptiness around him shows how he separates himself from others and how it puts him in a more lonely placement that he would've thought.
