Next up, our newest addition to the group, Riva ✨️

Riva has worked in birth since 2018 after the birth of her first child out of hospital. She has attended around 200 births as a doula and as a midwife assistant at TBI and to homebirth midwives. She is also working towards her IBCLC certification with extended lactation education/clinical work and has a passion for helping you succeed in your feeding goals! Riva teaches a full postpartum, newborn & lactation preparation class, stressing the importance of education to prepare for parenthood (come join her at The Birthing Inn)! She also is a CPST (car seat tech) and always happy to help keep our babies/kids as safe as possible, plus loves to help you learn to babywear!

Outside of birth work, Riva is busy with her husband and 3 young kids (age 7.5, 5, and almost 3) helping with homeschooling, plenty of activities, and her kids attend farm school!

Please WELCOME Riva to Called To Birth Doulas, and say hi if you see her around. She's always happy to help in any part of your pregnancy, birth, or postpartum education and support! 🫶
