Join us in learning how our comrade Wisco, who organized and participated in rapid response teams (or hyper locals) in Minnesota, did so during the 🧊 occupation. Wisco will provide intel from the various roles and structures Minnesotans implemented to effectively protect against the 🧊 escalations in hopes to better assist rapid response efforts in Connecticut as we respond to our own 🧊 presence. If you're interested in starting your own node or have already started and are looking for the next steps, this info can prove invaluable!

Both @ct_50501 and @theperseusproject will be speaking to our organizing in rapid response as well! This event is open to the public! Hope to see you there!

*this 5-7p time frame includes the time allotted for the potluck.

Meriden, CT, last night.

One week after, ICE entered the Meriden courthouse, arresting a man without the proper warrant, and a judicial marshal pushed an elderly bystander to the ground unconscious, we rallied before the courthouse. On this same day, the provision that prevents ICE from entering our courthouses went into effect. That same bill allows us to sue state and federal law enforcement for constitutional rights violations.

A man was pulled from an Uber vehicle this a.m. by 🧊 in Hartford. 9/23/36

Continuous detainments are occurring daily, under our noses. Organize. Know your rights. Defend. Prepare.

It's simply not enough to say, "Abolish 🧊." We must call for the abolition of the Department of Homeland Security. A racist organization that was built upon American fear and an attempt to scapegoat the Muslim community. It is the foreground of all things political post 9/11, stripping Americans of their freedoms in the guise of protection and is the birthplace of the 🧊 gestapo.

@dhsgov is un-American.

Last nights Aldermans' meet at Milford Town Hall. Members of @theperseusproject
And @ct_50501
projected onto the Milford courthouse and town hall, which sit adjacent to each other.

A very disappointing vote to keep Flock with restrictions in Milford last night. We keep up the fight. Remember, democracy is for the people, by the people.
