Our voices matter. Our food systems matter. Our community matters. 🌱♥️

We had the opportunity to speak at Jacksonville City Council to show our support for Pathways for Urban Ag, formerly the Free to Garden Act.

We believe in building a food system that supports local growers, small businesses, and greater access to fresh, nourishing food.

Change starts when we come together and make our voices heard. Anyone who knows me knows that public speaking terrifies me, but I’m so happy I overcame that fear to speak up. We’re proud to stand up for what matters and grateful to everyone working toward a healthier, more connected Jacksonville.

Thank you to @man.in.overalls for encouraging me to speak up and for everything you’ve done for this amendment and for our community!

Board Life Project has officially kicked off in Jacksonville, and we’re feeling pretty damn grateful.

Thank you to the humans of The Block Skate Supply for sharing your space with us, and thank you to every lady who shared her time, her energy, and a little bit of her night with us.

We skated, we ate, we laughed, and we left with new friends and plans to do it again.

There’s something pretty special about building something new with beautiful humans. We’re excited to see where this goes.
