‼️ Decalmania: 72 artists, 500 stickers—[email protected]

POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

insanity ˚⟡˖ a loss of tenderness, a loosening grip on reality. casting aside self and others in the name of one inescapable passion. unclear when the feeling will end.

this was my contribution to the @riverbed.collective mint condition card collection!! this was genuinely such a cool project to take on, each artist got assigned a word and really delved into their concepts. FINALLY SHARING MINE (after a year and a half?? augh sorry guys) and i still have sm love for these pieces!

Last year I took part in @riverbed.collective open call, Decalmania! A beautiful sticker book featuring artworks by 72 different artists 😍

After being selected, I started thinking about what I could draw. At the time I was working on my thesis and feeling pretty stressed, so without overthinking it I simply let my heart and my hand guide me.

And that’s how little Mirtilla and her mouse friend Elio came to life. They live inside an apple, deep in the woods. 🍎🌿

The book is absolutely beautiful, and it’s filled with so many amazing stickers! I don’t think I’ll ever have the courage to peel one off… 🥺

Thank you again @riverbed.collective for selecting me and for all the beautiful work you’ve put into this project ❤️❤️🫂

The joys of giving out stickers from @riverbed.collective’s Decalmania to my friends!

Currently working on securing more wholesale stockists for this book (72 artists from 20+ countries, 500+ stickers, raised 15,000+ USD on Kickstarter). Contact wholesale@riverbed.world for our stockists’ info pack ;)

P.S. I’m the one who designed the apple peel sticker challenge from the first slide; like using a knife to peel an apple in one long strip, can you remove the sticker in one go? It’s doable, but took me three minutes…

micropipette! i’m incredibly grateful for all the amazing artists i worked with and learned from throughout the process.

SPIKE ZINE, a collaborative charity art collection, is available until january 8th 2024 (link in bio).

all profits go to @outrightintl, a charity that advocates for LGBTQ+ rights internationally.

p.s. instagram’s crop won’t let me show my entire piece—another reason why you should buy the zine

It was an honour to speak with @cr_karen_corr from @jumpleads.nfp about @riverbed.collective and how systemic change occurs!

This interview represents the current version of myself, which, as you know, is temporary. Watch it here: https://youtu.be/0hOog7_qgM4?si=L1b5pnnJgW8sk9id

Thank you to Karen, Kain White, and the Jumpleads team for your support throughout this process. Excited to see where we go from here :)
