a lot of internal/external change was made this summer. a lot of core memories made as well. a lot of good food shared with community. a lot of sunshine and the color green. an extra lot of foraging and playing with the elements

Summer of 2017 - toured so many beer gardens in Europe with @tom_di_santo and crew… Flash forward to summer of 2026 - celebrating the final install of the beer garden at @beerburgevents where @nurturenaturetx and I coordinated an amazing team of people! @elizswanson and @onwaichiu built TCEQ approved composting bathroom and hand sink that drains directly into a garden (no septic system)!! Hazey Fairless and Mason fabricated the off grid beer trailer… @riverthisworld and @topigraphy designed the low water, Texas native species landscaping. Credit goes to David Venhuizen for the civil engineering! And thanks to Hays County for letting us be the first commercially permitted project like this with no septic system! Project coordination, fabricator procurement, schematic design of structures, and permitting by me. Huge credit to the family behind Beerburg for the commitment to a light footprint on their site.

Happy birthday to one of the most talented ladies I get to know and love. Emily, you are an abundant field full of the most exotic, yet native wildflowers. I can’t believe you are 24 years old… here’s the time you captured the sun with your wand on our special day at Canyon Lake and us in Michigan last summer.
