GROVSKOPA MORD RESURRECTION

Techno got cleaner.
The world got meaner.

Time to make some dents again.

Inkonst

STANISLAV TOLKACHEV (UA - live)

No detours.
No compromise.

Ukraine’s Stanislav Tolkachev makes his Swedish debut — twenty years after his first record appeared on Grovskopa’s Pohjola Records.

Techno at its most uncompromising.

REBECKA SEKELIUS (040 - DJ)

Malmö in the room.

Rebecka Sekelius moves through techno with a deep knowledge of where it came from, where it is now, and where it might go next.

Past, present, future.
Selected accordingly.

ADÈLE TORNBERG (040 - VJ)

Sound needs an image.

Adèle Tornberg shapes the visual world of the night — from the forthcoming Grovskopa EP artwork to the visuals unfolding inside Inkonst.

For the eyes, while the rest hits elsewhere.

SPÅRA COLLECTIVE (040 - Dancers)

Not in front of the dancefloor.
Inside it.

Queer dance collective Spåra moves in direct exchange with the DJs, dissolving the boundary between club and performance.

Bodies, sound and freedom in real time.

GROVSKOPA (040 - DJ)

Before Rivet, there was Grovskopa.

Industrial techno built from pressure, repetition and force. Put to rest after a near-fatal motorcycle accident, the project now returns — not as nostalgia, but necessity.

A new EP on MORD.
A resurrection at Inkonst.

Let’s party like it’s Bratislava 2002.

The next Mord release is a really special one to me.

Very pleased to announce that, after a 15-year hiatus, Grovskopa is back with new music, dropping a 5-track EP on Mord!

I’ve known Mika for over two decades, going back to the Audio Assault days, and I’m very happy that we’re working together again after so many years.

The release features 4 tracks on vinyl and 1 digital bonus tune. Artwork by @adeletornberg. Check out the previews on SC. Mastering by @_ctrls

What happens when a choir stops behaving like a choir?
London collective NYX takes the human voice somewhere stranger: stretched, multiplied, distorted and fed through electronics until the boundary between body and machine starts to dissolve.
Collaboration sits at the centre of their practice. NYX have created projects with artists including Hatis Noit, Iona Fortune and Alicia Jane Turner — but perhaps their most potent collision has been with Gazelle Twin.

What began in 2018 became a five-year collaboration and eventually Deep England: a radical electronic-choral reworking of Gazelle Twin’s Pastoral. English pagan and sacred music are dragged through drones, heavy breathing, electronics and massed voices, turning ideas of nation, nostalgia and tradition into something unstable and haunted. The project moved from stage to record to performance film, with The Times describing its live incarnation as a “techno-pagan pageant.”

Ancient ritual, experimental electronics, club culture, collective bodies.

THIRD AND FINAL DROP — CONCERTS AW26
Seven new nights complete the autumn programme — and every single one is included in the AW26 Season Pass. At this point, the pass is starting to feel suspiciously close to a steal.

The final stretch moves through psychedelic tropical mutations, deep listening, radical poetics, ritual repetition, digital precision and queer punk catharsis.

06.11 — LOS PIRAÑAS (CO)
Colombian cumbia, vallenato and champeta pulled apart and reassembled into something psychedelic, noisy and gloriously unstable.

07.11 — BITCHIN BAJAS (US) + 55 CANCRI E
Slow-moving electronics, drones and acoustic resonance from Chicago’s masters of extended attention, joined by Malmö’s 55 Cancri e.

10.11 — MOOR MOTHER (US)
Camae Ayewa returns to Fetish Bones ten years after its release, performing the landmark album in full. Black history, noise, poetry, electronics and radical imagination collide. Presented in collaboration with Black Archives Sweden.

12.11 — ANA ROXANNE (US) + L. T. FISK
Music at its most intimate and spacious: Ana Roxanne’s suspended world of voice, piano and electronics, with L. T. Fisk opening on voice and pump organ.

21.11 — LA TÈNE (FR/CH) + TBA
Repetition as ritual. The Swiss ensemble stretches folk traditions, harmonium, electronic percussion and dub processing into long, hypnotic cycles.

27.11 — RASTER: 30 YEARS
Three decades of electronic music reduced, sharpened and pushed forward. An anniversary night with Frank Bretschneider, Gábor Lázár, Amelie Duchow and Xuri & John Cleworth.

28.11 — BLANCO TETA (AR)
Buenos Aires-born queer punk at full pressure: processed cello, bass, drums and vocals crashing through noise, no wave, grunge and DIY electronics.

The final pieces are in place. We think..

Ange Halliwell transforms the harp into something ceremonial, spectral and deeply physical.

Emerging from the countryside of southwest France, Halliwell builds a world of hypnotic arpeggios, layered electronics and fragmented voices. Whispered confession gives way to spoken incantation and raw screams.

Melodies appear only to dissolve again. Harp strings become percussion, blurred drones and unstable harmonic cycles. The music draws on folklore, horror and the supernatural, conjuring humid forests, collapsing chapels and fading daylight.

“It’s like an invocation that goes wrong,” Halliwell says of their latest album Spirit are you here ?

Music unfolding with the logic of dreams rather than narrative, as if something has been summoned and refuses to disappear.
