The competition is heating up!

After four weeks of fundraising, the Tuba/Sousaphone Section rises to the top spot with $1,260 raised, but the Lady Purple Flashers are right on their heels at $1,219. The Golden Girls remain firmly in the hunt with $1,150 raised.

Current Top 5:

🥇 Tuba/Sousaphone – $1,260
🥈 Lady Purple Flashers – $1,219
🥉 Golden Girls – $1,150
4️⃣ Mello/French Horn – $450
5️⃣ Percussion – $310

Congratulations to every section that has stepped up to support the Sounds of Dyn-O-Mite. Your commitment is helping us move closer to our $25,000 goal.

But the challenge is far from over.

Several sections are still looking to get on the board, and there is plenty of time to make a move. One donation, one fundraiser, and one alumni outreach effort can completely change the leaderboard.

Who will claim the top spot?
Who will make the biggest comeback?
Who will answer the call for SOD?

There’s No Place Like Home! 💜💛

What an unforgettable Homecoming! The SOD Club is proud to share that we have now contributed over $51,000 to the ASU Foundation in support of the collective March to Macy’s Campaign, helping send the Sounds of Dyn-O-Mite Marching Band to the 2025 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City! 🗽🥁

Thanks to the dedication of alumni, students, family, and friends, the overall campaign has surpassed $525,000 raised — and every additional dollar will continue to directly support our S.O.D. students and program. We are not done yet!

This Homecoming, the SOD Club also proudly hosted a family-style tailgate for:
✅ SOD Club Members
✅ Sounds of Dyn-O-Mite Students
✅ Dutchtown H.S. Band
✅ Pike County H.S. Band

Moments like these remind us that the Sounds of Dyn-O-Mite is more than a band — it’s a legacy, a family, and a cultural force that continues to inspire generations.

If you’d like to support the band, sow into this legacy, or become a member of the SOD Club, please visit: www.sodclub.org

Together, we march forward.
