Walking Tall 50k 🔥 . . . This weekend I completed my first ultramarathon at Walking Tall 50k, 31 miles! It was an unbelievable experience and even better racing atmosphere. Hats off to the walking tall organization for putting on such a great race. Everything from the environment to the aid stations to the volunteers and to the awesome finishers award! Everything was top-notch and first class! . Shout out to my Coach at Flatlander Running, Coach Rob, for preparing me for this ultra! The last few months were a great challenge putting in brutal Miles in the 100deg+ plus heat! From day, one of working with him, I have done nothing but trust the process and follow his lead. It paid off big time. Very thankful and appreciative for all he does. I can’t wait for my upcoming races and see us crush them! . S/o to BPN as they kill it always with their products, Injinji as they are top notch and wouldn’t wear anything else, and Squirrels Nut butter! 💯 . I went into the race with three goals….Have fun, feel great(physically) when I finish, and Sub 7 hour. Crushed all 3 👊🏻 🔥 . . Upcoming Races 🏁 Nov 6th at 7pm- Mamba 100k 62 miles Dec 19th- Trail of fears Backyard Ultra #fyp #ultrarunninglife #fitlife

Area 51 25k 👽 Storms, rain, mud, sand and rocks, running in ankle deep water for miles, 2700 feet of vertical gain… still didn’t stop me. Top 10 finish 💯 Pure grit and determination. Pure resilience. If it was easy, we would road race. Area 51 trail race was excellent. Highly recommend running these trails if you live out near it. Always fun to run in new places! As always, S/O to my coach @rob.b.berry with @flatlanderrunningllc for getting me to this point 🔥 I refuse to let the voice inside my head win 💯 Full time nurse, full time dad, full time husband… and still putting in the hours and hours and hours of training to become the greatest version of myself I can. There’s never an excuse! Next race: Walking Tall 50k (31 miles)🏁 #fyp #healthylifestyle #fitlife #running

It’s been a week. We got back from NC last Friday and it seems almost immediately I got put down with a 4 day migraine. I honestly shouldn’t have raced today but it’s a series and if you miss one you’re out. So I just decided to show up and finish. It’s the first time I’ve finished one of these races off the podium but still walking away with first place age group is more than I expected. Rest, recover, and get ready to tackle the next race 🏃🏼‍♀️💪🏻. #ultrarunner #trailrunner #journeyto100 #mastersathlete #cobradentrailseries

It was a huge weekend of racing for the UltrAspire Athlete Team! Our first highlight goes to UltrAspire Athlete @rob.b.berry who toed the line at the Cherokee 130k. 19,000 feet of gain mixed with humidity and thunderstorms made for quite the day with challenging conditions. 43 runners lined up, 13 finished. Rob got it done securing 2nd overall with a time of 20:56:16! #ultraspire #inspiredbyathletes #ultramarathon #cherokee130k #runners #keeprunning #mountainrunning

Shoutout to my Flatlander Athlete @zallen90 for crushing a triple weekend of 50k ultras! 💪🔥 Zach rarely takes long breaks between races, so when he said he was adding the Viper 53k just a week after Music City 50k, I was like, "Hell yeah—let's shift some training and make it happen." Then a couple days after Viper, he drops that he's lining up for another 50k in a few days? My response: "LET'S GO!" 🚀 He didn't just finish all three—he got stronger each time: Mar 7: Music City 50k → 7th overall / 5:56 👊 Mar 13: Viper 53k → 2nd overall / 5:09 🔥 Mar 21: Big Buffalo 50k → 2nd overall / 4:53 🚀 Zach's one of the most game dudes I know—always putting in the work, keeping it fun in training, and absolutely lighting it up on race day. Proud coach moment right here! FLATLANDER RUNNING DRIVEN BEYOND MOUNTAINS #coach #UltraRunning #TrailRunner #drivenbeyondmountains #endurancetraining

🔥 MAMBA 100 WEEKEND GLORY 🔥 Proud coach moment—two of my Flatlander athletes absolutely CRUSHED it at @mamba100ultra! @zallen90 This man was a training machine all cycle. Goal: sub-24 at the Mamba 100. Then race week hit his entire household with a brutal sickness 🤒 Most would’ve bailed. He didn’t. He showed up, suffered like a champ, and PERSEVERED. Result? 22:50 and a TOP-20 finish out of 165 starters!! That’s what happens when the work is already in the bank. Unreal, Zach!! 🌟 @kayrene68 First “official” 50K in the books—and she didn’t just finish… she dropped it UNDER her goal time while grinning the whole way! Pure joy on the trails. Kare, you’re hooked now 😈 I’m beyond proud of these two. They trusted the process, put in the work, and let it rip when it mattered most. Want to turn your crazy ultrarunning dreams into reality too? DM me — let’s get you on the trails and across some finish lines in 2026 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ #drivenbeyondmountains #flatlandercoaching #UltraRunning #Mamba100 #100Miler #50K #TrailRunning #UltraCoach #FlatlanderAthletes #coach

Thanks to construction reroutes, new fresh trail, and a extra slap of hot temps and humidity, this year's Walking Tall proved to be the longest and most physically challenging course yet, and these Flatlanders went out and smashed it! Jaime Russell @the_salty_piercer is no stranger to racing, she been out crushing road races for long time. She wanted to get into Ultra racing to experience new challenges and chose Walking Tall 50k to be her first official Ultra Trail race! She got the challenge she was looking for and she crushed it! She stuck to her race plan, stayed on top of fueling and hydration, and kept it together though some real ultra problem solving to run a great first ultra! Congrats Jaime! Karen Berry @kayrene68 chose Walking Tall to be her final long training run leading into her first "proper" 50k at Mamba in three weeks! And a great training opportunity it turned out to be! She ran it smart, utlilizing the tough course to practice her pacing, fueling, and hydration knowing her A race lay ahead and still managed to snag a great finish! Great Job, Kiddo! I'm so proud of both of their accomplishments this weekend and privileged to be a part of their journeys!
