What a season, not just for prep, but life in general. To say that I would step up on stage again was something I wanted to do and work towards. All I can ever do is continue to keep working, on my self and my goals.

It’s come to my attention that a lot of my newer clients and followers have never met “Bodybuilder Chris.”

This was me back in 2024, shortly before the last time I competed—238 pounds at 5.7% body fat, measured by DEXA.

Since then, I’ve been focused on a number of different physical pursuits—athleticism, conditioning, basketball, and seeing what else I’m physically capable of. Because of that, how I look today isn’t necessarily an obvious example of what I’ve done or what I’m capable of within bodybuilding.

This really came to light during a conversation with a client who recently signed up with me and had never seen this side of me before.

So, for the clients and followers who weren’t around for peak “Bodybuilder Chris,” here he is. And honestly, it’s just fun for me to look back and remember that I was a pretty big, shredded motherfucker. 😂

What a blast! Such a fun show with tons of great competitors. I had so much fun standing next to @rob_ceccano who is such a phenomenal bodybuilder and a great person to talk to!

I felt like I brought a sharper package to this show, which was the goal. Honestly, this was the most fun I’ve ever had on a bodybuilding stage! Thank you @ribicproductions for another great show.

A few things I noted after coaching myself through this prep:

You can always be leaner.

Bodybuilding is a physique contest, not a suffering contest.

Try to enjoy and take in every moment backstage with other competitors.

I’m not sure when I’ll be able to compete again. I head off to chiropractic school this fall to begin my career in that field. The judges’ feedback was to bring more size, so that will be the goal until I decide to step on stage again! I’m excited to take some time off and put on some mass.

ALL I KNOW IS I LOVE BODYBUILDING!!! ❤️🏆

WE DID IT. 🏆

Coming home as the 2026 Linear Emerald Cup Open Bodybuilding Champion is truly surreal.

After months of relentless preparation, we delivered the best package of my career to the biggest NPC show on the West Coast — and walked away with the Overall title. Standing onstage alongside so many incredibly talented athletes and coaches was the biggest honor of my career to date.

I couldn’t be more proud of what we accomplished together.
A massive thank you to my coach @miles_mann and @phoenix_firemunson for believing in me and guiding this journey every step of the way. This one is ours.

Visualizing this moment for weeks, dreaming about it night after night — and then watching it all come to life… it’s one of the greatest blessings and privileges I’ve experienced in this sport. It still hasn’t fully sunk in.

Huge respect to @ribicproductions for putting on such a flawlessly executed, world-class event. It was an absolute honor to compete on that stage.
And to @tonio_burton and @jordanhutchinsonifbb — it was a pleasure meeting you both. Looking forward to crossing paths again down the road.

This is only the beginning.
