Aaaaaaand that’s a wrap!

Woah…

Let me start off by saying that this has been an AMAZING experience. Everyone on set was so nice and understanding, and I learned SO much about the ins and outs of filmmaking. I feel like I’ve gotten a crash course in all the lingo and terminology, and I’m walking away with so much more knowledge than I expected.

This was my first time EVER acting in a film, and the whole experience has felt so surreal. I honestly haven’t stopped thinking about it since we finished shooting. I never thought I’d find myself doing this kind of work, but at the same time, it’s something that’s always called to me. I’m glad I answered the call.

I really think this could be the first step toward a long future in film for me. I’ve already downloaded all the audition-hunting apps, and I may have been lightly poked about another film in the works…

I plan on posting a video later this week talking about my experience, along with some funny little clips and behind-the-scenes moments, so keep a lookout for that! 👀🎬

A big thank you to @sidequestshortfilm for letting me be a part of such an amazing project! I can’t wait for the next one! 💜

Some highlights from @njwebfest last weekend. 📸

This Festival showcased a solid slate of shorts and audio fiction and brought together a talented group of artist from around the world. We are so thankful to be accepted and take home the award for Best Director in a Comedy for our first year in attendance! 🏆

Huge shoutout to @neem_basha and @neddonovan for putting together this absolute gem of a festival right in our backyard. They really make you feel welcome and accepted at the festival as if you’ve been attending for years. Out of all the festivals we attended with No Witnesses, this was one of the top ones. Whether you’re NJ based, across the country, or on the other side of the world. We highly recommended submitting your projects to this festival.

Overall, we had a fantastic time here and can safely say this will not be our last NJ Webfest! 🎬

A special thank you from our Director to everyone who contributed to our crowdfunding and helped us exceed our goal on our Seed & Spark campaign!

Keep your eyes here on our page for more updates about the film as we go into pre-production and very soon actual production of the film itself!

We have other opportunities in the works to continue growing our funds for the film. So stay tuned for that if you are still looking for an opportunity for a tax write-off!

Let's make a movie!
