We had an incredible time playing the @telefunken_mics Soundstage at @thecapitolgroove —huge thanks to everyone who came out and to the whole crew at Telefunken and Capitol Groove for having us. We’re grateful for the chance to be part of something that is highlighting the beauty of the CT music scene while bringing such incredible national acts to our small state. Special thanks to @parkcitystudiosct for the amazing pics!

If you’re in the area today, we highly recommend heading over to the Telefunken Soundstage to catch more amazing artists, including our friends @one_time_weekend, @michael.sanford.day @rileymcotton. Support local music!
•
And be sure to catch @thebandcake @bleachersmusic @sammyraemusic @stpaulandthebrokenbones and @fantasticnegrito

Lots to be thankful for this year. Family, friends and everything in between.

Quick trip to the Midwest to see Stephen Kellogg in WI, IL, and MN. Also got to catch up with some friends and family in Chicago, which was really nice!

Another year, another reminder that @robbygriffo is the human metronome that keeps us all in time—both musically and in life. His dedication to his craft is second to none. He could probably set up, play, and break down his kit before you finish reading this post. If there’s a rhythm needed, he’ll find it. If there’s a road, he’s already driven it. If there’s a pizza joint nearby, chances are that he frequents it. So if you see him in the greater West Hartford area today, be sure to give him a high-five and wish him a Happy Birthday! 🎉🥁🍕🚐

It’s truly amazing to be back in New York, even if only for a short time. As I reflect on my journey, I’m reminded of the many sacrifices I’ve made to keep my passion for music alive. Yet this week felt different—effortless and invigorating. It’s a heartfelt reminder to keep moving forward. I’m so grateful for my friends and the incredible energy they brought into my life this week.

Always a fun path to walk down when re-approaching one of our songs. Thankfully @bugs_bob and @melodie_chase were there to be our tour guides

Hey, Ho to the Midwest! DAMN we had some fun a couple weekends ago, didn’t we? Thanks to Katie Roberts for capturing the shows and hitting the road with us. It felt great to be playing again and it gets me so, so, so psyched for the rest of the Summer dates and the fall headline tour! Come get ya smile (and ok maybe the odd tear) on with me!

Tickets and VIP are all on sale now at my world wide web site stephenkellogg.com

10 of My Favorite Moments from Ocean’s Calling:
(Not ranked, just in order of the photos)

1)Playing “Almost Woke You Up” with both @countingcrows AND @addiiekellogg & @sophiaakellogg right before “A Long December.”

2)Starting the show with a sing along of “High Highs, Low Lows” that I will always remember.

3)Meeting and chatting with @lisaloeb.

4)Having my whole family in attendance (this made me SO happy) and taking what looks to my eye like a photo for an 80’s sit-com that could be called “Uncle Adam.”

5) Playing my first ever full set with my daughter’s Sophia (vocals and keys) & Adeline (vocals.)

6) Getting to rock “Thanksgiving” through “Lean On Me” with a group of people who are as great at being good people as they are at music.

7)Singing with @marcroberge & @johnjhonfofohniam. Without @ofarevolution (or @bluestraveler) none of this happens.

8)Having moments of reflection on stage where I actually was present enough to breathe.

9)Playing a solo show at Crawl St Tavern & having everyone sign my guitar which is now Crawl Street’s for the ages.

10)Watching so many musicians I respect play great sets and then having the opportunity to talk and hang with them. Thank you O.A.R @guster @b.h.t.m @deesnider @chefirvine @davematthewsband and everyone involved with this festival. I have so much love and gratitude for having a seat at the table.

Very happy to have this one out in the world today. This is a song that means a hell of a lot to our band, and we hope you’ll give it a spin or two. All performances and production by the band and @chadcopelin . Mixed by myself. Mastered by @danshike . Recorded at @dreamlandrecordingstudio . Artwork by @nathanpriceart . Shoutout @young_patchouli for helping with so much behind the scenes.
