Walk by Faith. Doubt Nothing. ❤️

The little mare I wasn’t supposed to keep ends up being the blessing that got me into my first Triple Crown Finals. I’ve learned I can have all the ‘plans’ I want, but they rarely execute my way. Then God has His plans and they never fail. NEVER. Enjoy the journey He has set out for you and learn all you can in the process, while never losing faith.

Lord, thank you.
Sweet Penny, thank you.
My husband, thank you.
My family, thank you.

What an incredible evening celebrating the past, present, and future of our sport! ✨

During the National Cutting Horse Association Hall of Fame Gala, members came together to support the next generation through two special live auction items benefiting the NCHA Foundation and National Youth Cutting Horse Association.

A heartfelt thank you to Terry Green, whose generosity secured both the one-of-a-kind Josey Butler of @streakinbart painting and the horseshoe worn by the 2025 NCHA Metallic Cat World Championship Futurity Open Futurity Champion, Minkish. These special pieces will now have a home at Jackpot Farms in Lexington, Kentucky.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Phil Rapp for lending his talents as auctioneer and to NYCHA member Cord Roberson, who stepped up to the microphone as our youth auctioneer. Seeing our youth involved in such a meaningful way was a wonderful reminder of the bright future ahead for the sport of cutting.

Thank you to everyone who participated, donated, and supported the auction. Your generosity helps create opportunities for youth and ensures the continued growth and success of our sport for generations to come.

The spirit of the Western way of life was shining bright at the @nchacutting Cutters for Kids event, proudly presented by the @nchacharitiesfoundation and NYCHA.

A special thank you to @cookchildrens Fort Worth for their incredible hospitality and for welcoming us into their facility to share the love of the cutting horse with so many amazing children and families. Your kindness and support helped create a morning filled with joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories.

We are grateful to @cinchjeans, @mfwestern in partnership with @sombrero_brands, @streakinbart, and Ben Roberson for believing in the vision of this special event and bringing smiles to so many faces.

From cowboy hats, @gistsilversmiths Belt Buckles, and Cinch Shirts and hats to Build-A-Bear creations, crafting, clay sculpting, and time spent together with friends, every moment reminded us of the power of community and connection.

The memories made throughout this incredible day will be cherished. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event so meaningful and inspiring for these wonderful kids and their families.

Throwback Thursday | NYCHA Hall of Fame

Today we celebrate the Sokol family - sisters Nikki Sokol Roberson (2002), Jamie Sokol (2005), and cousin Courtney Sokol Hendrick (2007) - all NYCHA Hall of Fame Inductees.

Between them, they earned 14 combined championships and reserve titles across Eastern Nationals, Western Nationals, NYCHA World Finals, and the NCHA Summer Scholarship Cutting, leaving a lasting mark on youth cutting.

📸 Jamie Sokol aboard Lucky Ruth Olena at the 1995 Red Adair Junior Youth World Finals
📸 Courtney Sokol Hendrick aboard Jae Bar Mina at the 1995 Red Adair Junior Youth World Finals

Their impact continues beyond the show pen: Nikki serves on the NCHA Youth Standing Committee and a past Committee Chairman, and Jamie serves on the NCHA Non-Pro Standing Committee and helps support various youth scholarships and activities in Florida, including the Melinda Gamot Scholarship Cutting.

From early competition to shaping the next generation, the Sokol family continues to make a lasting impact on the cutting horse industry.
