🏆 WE WON FIRST PLACE AHHHHH

This feels so unreal and I couldn't be more proud to have our team's work be celebrated. The Golem puppet, Robert's computer, Coupe's wings, full body paint- everyone put in so much effort to make these characters and this world come to life.

This was my first shoot that I produced, and BOY did it come with some hiccups 🫩 Pivoting to different set locations like a week beforehand and several people dropping out of the project less than 24 hours before the shoot (due to being sick or personal reasons) doesn't even BEGIN to cover all the variables that were being thrown at us.

But I wouldn't trade this 20-person (and 1 very good dog) project for the world. My beautiful director Ali stuck with me through all the ups and downs 🙏 This team made a 12-hour shoot day go by fast, and people who were virtually strangers that I DM'd became instantaneous friends. So many memories made, so many animal facts shared- this is an experience that I'll always cherish <3

Please check out @theadhocstudio's full article on their website and look at all the winners' work!

(Also shout-out to @sollycos for styling my Invisigal wig! Would not be Visi without you boo 😘)

Back in February, a team was assembled and the Phoenix program arose 🔥

It was truly an exciting experience working with everyone to bring @theadhocstudio ‘s game Dispatch to life. Tremendous shoutout to @crystalsfantasy for producing and gathering the team, and to @aliand_cosplay for directing!
I had so much fun building Golem 1.0! Unfortunately, he did meet his demise in the move 😔 Nonetheless, Golem 2.0 will be underway and I already have plans on how to improve the design to puppet him more!

My birthday party was about two weeks ago and honestly I could not have asked for a better experience. Being in the same room with so many people I love made me so grateful for the past 26 years of life. I wish I could tell younger Claudia who hated her birthday that it really does get better and you get to make everyone in your life so excited to be nerds with you. Also you will buy a Katseye themed kids party pack from Amazon for your 26th birthday and it’ll be the best thing ever. Thanks to all who attended and you all really made this so special for me, and i hope it was special for you too.

Got to participate in a Dispatch shoot with some very talented and hilarious people and it was SO much fun. I believe this was my first time participating in a cosplay shoot without being in cosplay and I loved it. Thanks y’all for bringing such great vibes and making this something I’ll remember for a while. I know the year just started, but this was def a highlight and I’m excited to see the results of our work :)💖
