Join RECONNECTED and SpeakUp ReachOut for Talk Saves Lives, a suicide prevention education program developed by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP). SpeakUp ReachOut will lead this training!

Have you ever asked a loved one if they’re okay and heard, “I’m fine”? Learn how to recognize warning signs, understand risk factors, identify protective factors, and support someone who may be struggling. You don’t have to be an expert to make a difference.

13 years. What an incredible milestone. 🙏

This morning, I had the privilege of being in the room as Rob celebrated 13 years of sobriety. Holding his 13-year chip for a moment was a powerful reminder of what commitment, perseverance, and community can mean.

To celebrate Rob, a box of Raksoy Baklava is heading his way. But to me, this is more than bringing dessert. Baklava is part of my culture, my childhood, and the Turkish tradition I grew up with ,and sharing it is one of the ways I know how to show appreciation. 🇹🇷

Rob, congratulations on 13 years. Thank you for what you bring to our community and for allowing me to be part of such a meaningful morning.

Today, a little piece of Turkey gets to celebrate with you. 🤎

Okay — deep breath. Strap in, because this is a long one. 
3 years ago, Rob reached out and asked me to film a run from Vail to Aspen. Now, here we are, telling a similar story on different legs of the same journey. 
This story has never really been mine to give away. It belongs to Rob, Creighton, their families, friends, and everyone in the @reconnected_foundation CREW who let us into their lives and trusted us with things that weren’t easy to say out loud. That trust is the whole film.

It also belongs to the people who built it with me. The shooters who stood in the cold through the middle of the night because the story didn’t stop when the sun went down.

@reconnected_foundation & @vailhealth being the driving force and biggest supporters behind this project from day one.  @robert_shearon we go back to preschool, man. I got to grow up with you and 30 years later, we’re here telling this story together. Hopefully saving lives. I’m so grateful and thankful to be on this ride with you.

@katierkess you showed up for me every single time. When I had a question, you’d find the answer. You’ve been there through all of it, and this project wouldn’t exist without you.

@leadvilleraceseries for putting on such an amazing event year after year. Your team was so accommodating.

@easyoutside @_seanosullivan__ @danielmilchev @jakerbones who never once asked why, just whose car we were taking.

@ellhoof who signed on for a 3-month gig on a video that was only supposed to be 20 minutes long 😬 you’re an incredible editor 🙏

To the 50+ of you who joined the test screening, your feedback challenged us. You believed in it from its early stages and now this film is so much stronger.

This only scratched the surface of those we need to thank.

Join Reconnected and Vail Health Foundation for the premiere of The Crew, a documentary about recovery, resilience, and the power of community! 💜🔗

Set against the backdrop of the legendary Leadville Trail 100 Run, The Crew follows people in recovery as they take on an extraordinary challenge—some running the race, others showing up to support them every step of the way.

While the Leadville 100 provides the setting, the story is about much more than running. The Crew explores addiction, mental health, recovery, friendship, and the people who help us keep moving forward when the road gets difficult. At the heart of the film is a simple message: no one finishes alone—and no one should have to recover alone.

This premiere is an opportunity to bring our community together, raise awareness about Reconnected and the continuum of care available in the Eagle River Valley, and highlight the resources available to individuals and families impacted by mental health and substance use challenges.

Most importantly, we hope The Crew leaves people with a message of hope: recovery is possible, connection matters, and there is a strong community of people right here in our valley living meaningful lives in recovery.

What a weekend at the GoPro Games! 🙌

A huge thank you to everyone who came out, participated, cheered each other on, and helped make our presence known. Seeing our community show up with so much energy, support, and determination was truly inspiring. We also had the biggest crowd that was cheering everyone on, which was so awesome to see.

Each and every one of you is what makes Reconnected so special. Your commitment, encouragement, and willingness to show up for one another are at the heart of everything we do. We are incredibly grateful for this community and proud of all that we accomplished together this weekend.

Shout out to @nik6ski for placing 3rd for the 10k! As well as @noah_zane_yoga for running his first 20k and crushing it!

Thank you for representing RECONNECTED so well—we couldn’t do it without you. 💜💜
