POWDER BLUES | Bathroom at Davie

Relaxed yet considered, where subtle soft textures meet simplicity. Powder blues, white terrazzo and natural timber tones are finished with the vanity handles - the jewellery of the bathroom.

Love a statement tile? Give it room to shine.

A two-tile split can be a clever way to bring personality into a bathroom without letting a bold pattern or colour overwhelm the space.

Use your feature tile on the upper section, then balance it with a simpler tile below. The contrast creates interest while keeping the overall look calm and considered. And if your feature tile is a higher-cost choice, using it over a smaller area can help manage the tile budget while still giving you the look you love.

It’s a great approach for balancing colour, pattern and cost in bathroom design.

The Sorrento Project | Coastal Elegance 🤎

A little before and after of a beach house bathroom we’ve transformed for our clients in Sorrento.

The brief? Modern coastal, elegant and timeless.

By layering natural textures, warm timber, beautiful stone and soft organic shapes, we’ve created a space that feels relaxed yet refined.

For me, coastal design isn’t about following trends or filling a room with beach-inspired pieces. It’s about creating a feeling through materials, texture and warmth.

Understated, timeless and effortlessly coastal.

Designing your own space? Start with a flat lay.

When you’re planning a renovation, try collecting samples of the finishes you’re considering and laying them out together. It’s an easy way to see how the colours, tones and textures work as a whole before making your final selections.

For a calm, cool coastal look, this palette brings together natural stone, ceramic, light timber and brushed nickel. Seeing the materials side by side helps you build a cohesive interior design vision with confidence.
