The real work in dance doesn’t always show on the outside first—it starts between your ears.

It’s easy to walk into a convention and start looking left and right, wondering how you measure up. But true confidence isn’t about comparison; it’s the quiet decision that you have earned your spot on that floor. It’s choosing to believe in your foundation, staying locked into the movement, and trusting that your effort has weight.

Having that mental shift happen in real time this weekend was the real win. Honored and grateful to be selected as a @danceplatinumco Apprentice—ready to keep learning, growing, and putting in the work.

Even though I am up in the front assisting with classes as an apprentice with @danceplatinumco, I still get to learn and explore movement through dance. Look at this amazing exploration with mirroring at the platinum dance experience this weekend! Thank you @dannihev for an amazing improv class and @jillian_davis_dancer for being an amazing partner in this! And always a thank you to @robindawnacademy for my every day training- I wouldn’t have these experiences without it! #platinumdanceexperience #platinumdanceexperienceconvention #dancerlife #improv #mirrormirror
