A little more than a year ago we stood near a mound of dirt envisioning what could be possible for the children of Buloba, Uganda. And now that dream is a reality.

Children living in extreme poverty now have a safe place to play. And when they come they will also receive food and the good news of the gospel.

Thank you Lori, Brandi and the entire LALI family for making this possible and giving so many children hope for the future - fun for their hearts, food for their bodies, faith for their souls. See what the lord has done!!!

So many emotions inside. Today is the only child of ours who is both a big sister and a little sister at the exact same time. Yep she's our middle child and today is literally her Last First Day of School and oh how time flies. Thanks to @robinmayonline and A.I. we get to see her First First Day of School and her Last First Day of School and yes, its making me cry. I am so proud of the young lady she is becoming. Its going to be an amazingly special year for her and I am all here for it!

In this powerful session with @robinmayonline and @drtarasclassroom, they emphasized the burden that women often times can put on themselves.

The session encouraged women in leadership to lead in the place that God has them planted.

The work can be heavy but His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

The Escape Room was a reminder that freedom begins when we recognize the weight we were never meant to carry. Healing starts the moment we choose to let it go.

What weight are you leaving behind?

Share one word in the comments. Your honesty may give another woman the courage to begin her own journey toward freedom.

A heartfelt thank you to @drtarasclassroom and @robinmayonline for leading such an impactful session and creating an unforgettable escape room experience.

He is a good man Savannah...and not Savannah Gunthrie. 😅😅😅

But seriously....from my husband's lips to God's ears. And I am so grateful for his belief in the work we do and in what is in store! 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾

As a pastor, one of my greatest privileges is praying over people as they step into new seasons.

This Sunday, I want to personally invite every student, teacher, administrator, counselor, coach, bus driver, cafeteria worker, custodian, and every person connected to education to join us for Back to School Sunday at Transforming Faith Church.

We’ll spend time worshiping together and praying God’s blessings over this upcoming school year.

- If you’re a parent, bring your children.
- If you’re a grandparent, bring your grandchildren.
- If you know a teacher, invite them.
- If you know someone working in our schools, let them know they’re welcome.

Let’s believe God for a school year marked by His protection, wisdom, peace, favor, and purpose.

Sunday, August 2
9:00 AM
301 Honey Creek Road, Conyers, GA 30094

I hope to see you this Sunday.
Let’s Start This Year Strong!

Its a couple days late, but I have to stop and just shout to the world how proud I am of our beautiful gift from God @reagan.may10 who was awarded the Positive Athlete Leadership Award of the Year in Georgia. So proud of this Student Athlete Leader. Reagan has just grown into a beautiful young lady with a heart for God and God’s people and she's a force on the Volleyball Court. An ACL tear won't hold her down. Wait til she's back on the court full throttle. Any college would be blessed to have her. Can't believe she's going into her senior year. @positiveathsoutheast
