Back in January, we piloted our new Move & Mind programme, designed to help children in KS1 and KS2 discover the joy of movement in a way that feels safe, inclusive and fun

We know that not every child feels confident taking part in traditional sports. Through creative dance, physical activity and mindfulness, Move & Mind offers a different approach, helping children build confidence, explore movement and develop a more positive relationship with physical activity, without the pressure of competition or performance

Since our pilot, we’ve delivered the programme in two schools, and we’re delighted to be taking our next steps as we prepare to launch in a new school in Borehamwood this November!

This next phase wouldn’t be possible without the incredible support of the Active Local initiative, delivered by the Herts Sport & Physical Activity Partnership (HSP). Their funding and support have enabled us to test, learn and grow this project, helping us address inequalities in physical activity and create more accessible opportunities for children in Cowley Hill, Borehamwood.

We’re incredibly proud to share that Phase 3 of Move & Mind has been funded! 💫 This means we can continue developing the programme, reaching more children and helping them find their own way to move, express themselves and thrive
