🎄💌 SPECIAL DELIVERY! It's time for The TU Holiday Card Exchange! 🐾🌍

One of our favourite Terrier Union traditions is here again – sending a little bit of TU love through the actual post and then watching cards from terrier friends around the world arrive at our doors. ❤️

There is something rather wonderful about seeing those envelopes appear. Different countries, different stamps, familiar names … and inside, the faces of friends we usually only see on our screens.

So, pups, it is time to get your humans organised!

📮 How does the exchange work?
The postal card exchange is completely optional. If you sign up, we will place you in an exchange group of six TU members. That means you send five physical cards and receive cards from the other five pups in your group.

When you register, you can tell us whether you would prefer an exchange group within your country, continent or worldwide. We’ll do our best to match your preference, depending on the number and location of pups who sign up.

Because real cards need real post boxes, the registration form also asks for permission to share your postal address only with the TU members in your exchange group.

🌍 And then the fun begins …

Cards cross oceans.
Terrier faces appear on fridges and mantels.
Humans become strangely excited about checking the mailbox.
And somehow our big online family feels just a little closer.
Prefer digital greetings? You are still very welcome to exchange those freely with your TU friends – no postal exchange sign-up needed.

❤️ Ready to send some pawliday cheer around the world?
Complete the registration form using the link in our bio by October 17th. We’ll send the exchange groups by email shortly afterwards.

And when those cards start arriving, please show us your happy mail! There is always room for a little Zoe-style supervision of the proceedings. 😏🐾💌 (Poster inspired by @rocketjourneys )

From our post box to yours – with love from the Terrier Union.

Where could I begin to tell you about my TU Ohana?

Well, simply put, I see them as family I might not have met yet. I’ve been fortunate to have met so many, and every time I’ve met a TU friend, they never feel like strangers. The conversations between hoomans always pick up right away, over their common love of us pups, and sharing news or well-wishes from friends who knew about the meetups but couldn’t be there.

We’ve met friends from Canada, US, and Poland! Hoping to meet more TU friends IRL from more places one day. I think my dad’s thoughts after my furst ever TU meetup summed it up the best. It was Labour Day weekend in 2022. We drove down to Seattle to meet Asta @astathewirefoxterrier and Shrimp @shrimpfoxterrier 🥰🐾 On the drive home, dad said “it’s so nice to have good conversations with like-minded people!”

I couldn’t find better words to express my gratitude towards my TU Family. We are always there for each other, virtually or in-person 🥰🥰🤎🤎

🐾 TU Family Week — DAY 2 — A is for ADVENTURE! ❤️

We terriers have a special talent: we can turn almost any day into an adventure.

Sometimes it is a big adventure — travelling somewhere new, exploring a beach, climbing a trail, meeting friends, or setting off on holiday.

Sometimes it happens right here in the TU led by Captain Lola, Pippin and Bob! @lolabirdj @pippin.mini @sir_bob_the_mighty_fox_terrier

We have competed in TUG, travelled the world through one another’s posts, solved some very suspicious mysteries together … and, naturally, found more than a little mischief along the way. 😏🐾 #itisalwaysthebutler @ecocharliezulu

And our adventures do not end when one of our friends becomes a TU Angel. @estellesato @finley_wirefoxterrier

So today we would like to dedicate our Adventure Day to Angel Picasso @hilde_en_picasso . Picasso was one of our great TU adventurers, often heading off on another mission with his good friend Rocket @rocketjourneys .

We are still getting used to Picasso having left for the Rainbow Bridge so suddenly. But somehow it feels right to imagine that he has not stopped adventuring at all.

Perhaps Angel Picasso is still leading the way — just from a little further ahead with all our beautiful TU Angels. 🌈🐾

So today, show us your adventures. Big ones, little ones, holidays, walks, TU adventures, mysteries, road trips or simply an ordinary day that became extraordinary because you were there.

Because that is what we do.

We make any day an adventure. 🐾♥️🐾

The #TUG2026Games have concluded and it's time for the finals. But first, I'd like to extend a special THANK YOU to the many selfless judges who gave generously of their time and talents to make these games a huge success. I'd also like to thank my fellow competitors who really pushed this year's games to the next level. Last but not least, THANK YOU Terrier Union for bringing us all together for a week and lifetime of support, friendship, and merriment 💕💕 Brandy

Now on to the finals!

We're a little late to the head tilt game, but Oliver rocks at this one, so we could miss it! 😂 What do you think of this, captains? #tug2026headtilt #terrierunion #tugames @hilde_en_picasso @itsquincythebostonterrier @rocketjourneys @the_terrier_union

See that tiny head tilt? That’s mind control.😏

Dear Captains @hilde_en_picasso , @rocketjourneys , @itsquincythebostonterrier please accept this tilt as my entry in the #tug2026headtilt competition.

As I get older and wiser, it’s harder to find questions and situations that make me tilt my head. I’ve just gotten most things all figured out, you know?

But tonight, I was temporarily concerned about dad’s painful cry when the Carolina Hurricanes scored a goal in overtime to take a lead in the eastern conference championship series 😅

I hope the captains will take pity on us sad Canadians, and award me a tiny medal for my tiny head tilt! 🙏🤎

Dear Captains Picasso @hilde_en_picasso Quincy @itsquincythebostonterrier Rocket, Pippin and Zoe @rocketjourneys we need your opinions please!! Neither of us is much for the traditional Head Tilt. Does this count? #tug2026headtilt #tug2026

Esteemed Captains- Picasso, Quincy, Rocket, Pippin, and Zoe - apologies for this blurry photo but it shows my mastery of the head tilt whilst holding an object which clearly adds a level of difficulty for this #TUG2026HeadTilt competition 😉 What say you? 💕💕 Brandy
