Lights. Camera. Judy! ✨

A star is born? We had a whole cast of them at our poster shoot.

The cameras were rolling, the glamour was in full swing, and our divas were giving us their very best Judy as we brought The Cult of Judy to life for the first time.

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at what’s to come for our 16th showcase.

Join us on Sunday 29th November at @decubanottingham.

Tickets are on sale now — link in bio.

‘Monochrome Starlet’ first glimpse!
Here’s a little section of my new song. I’ll be releasing the full version soon - watch this space.
‘Monochrome Starlet’ is the first song I’ve ever written and it’s a terribly theatrical affair, very story-driven. There’s so many aspects to consider when making a song - track, mixing, BVs, and in this post I want to say a special thank you to Gail Gordon who coached me on the vocal delivery and helped find the real heart and soul of the song. Thank you Gail - you gave life to the song and I couldn’t have done it without you!
Credits to @steveallanjones for producing the track, @rodelamonja for BVs, and @liati_elementz for mixing/mastering Thank you all ❤️

Announcing the 16th Showcase from Niche Artefact.

Welcome to The Cult of Judy. 🌈

The Cult of Judy will take place at @decubanottingham on 29th November. This unique, glamorous art event, complete with a full live variety stage show, will begin at 6pm.

Enter a world inspired by the life, legacy and enduring influence of Judy Garland. A little more Seven Deadly Sins.

Too many moments for just one post, so here’s another look back at our sold-out 15th showcase.

From the stage to the exhibition and everything in between, Seven Deadly Sins was one for the Niche history books.

Seven Deadly Sins — what a night.

Our busiest Niche Artefact showcase yet, and we sold out! We couldn’t have asked for a better way to bring our 15th showcase to life.

Thank you to every artist who exhibited, everyone who joined us in the audience, and everyone who gives us the space and support to rehearse, create and put these shows on.

At a time when so many events and creative spaces are struggling to keep going, we feel incredibly fortunate to have a community that continues to show up for Niche Artefact. It’s because of that support that we can keep creating these spaces, championing local talent and doing what we do.

For now, a huge thank you from all of us at Niche Artefact. More from Seven Deadly Sins to come.

With thanks to:
@decubanottingham
@pitcherandpianonottingham
@thespencertrust
