Lights. Camera. Judy! ✨

A star is born? We had a whole cast of them at our poster shoot.

The cameras were rolling, the glamour was in full swing, and our divas were giving us their very best Judy as we brought The Cult of Judy to life for the first time.

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes look at what’s to come for our 16th showcase.

Join us on Sunday 29th November at @decubanottingham.

Tickets are on sale now — link in bio.

Announcing the 16th Showcase from Niche Artefact.

Welcome to The Cult of Judy. 🌈

A little more Seven Deadly Sins.

Too many moments for just one post, so here’s another look back at our sold-out 15th showcase.

From the stage to the exhibition and everything in between, Seven Deadly Sins was one for the Niche history books.

Back in April I put forward what I thought was a bit of bonkers idea to the Niche performance company for a piece for the ‘Alice in Wonderland’ show, because I knew what I was suggesting was going to be challenging and take a LOT of work. “Hey”, I said, “how would you feel about doing a 5 part a cappella close harmony group version of Mad World for the show?”. I was bowled over by the cast’s response. Not only did they enthusiastically grab the idea, but they put in hours upon hours of work and threw themselves into it heart and soul. I knew we could do it - I never doubted everyone’s talent - but the sheer degree of commitment, passion and desire to make this thing happen was quite humbling.
The night we stood on stage and did it, I could not have felt more thrilled and proud of everyone - it was a moment I’ll treasure forever. You blow me away gang - I am so lucky to get to work with you and also to call you my friends and family. Thank you for making my own world less bad mad and a lot more good mad!

“‘Cheshire Puss’ she began, rather timidly” 💜😸

I had the TIME OF MY LIFE last Sunday at @nicheartefact’s latest showcase - Alice in Wonderland: Journey Through Absurdity! I’ve been OBSESSED with the Cheshire Cat since I was little (I even had a plushie that slept on my bed well into my teens 😅💜), and I loved getting to play this “what if the Cheshire Cat was a Non-Binary Pop Idol” version 💜💜💜

Performing with my Niche Artefact family, and seeing the amazing artwork always refills my cup so much it overflows 💜🥹

Like @robinfromtheforest always says “the rose and the thorne of Niche is that it only happens once, and then it’s gone”, and I do not want to miss this look 😅 so if you’d like to book me to perform some Cheshire inspired drag, hit me up 💜✨

Thank you to @solcm15 for always taking the most AMAZING pictures 💜💜
