January in London (｡･ω･｡)ﾉ♡
It has been a while since I have painted in water colour, who knows it's one of the famous art forms in the UK 👨🏽‍🎨 Finding nose, Cirque du soleil, crazy Traitor show SS4, visit family in Taiwan, and lots of food. What a wrap!

In June, following weeks of unexplainable stomach pain, night sweats, fever, chills, and weakness, I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma (blood cancer). Now, six months later, after receiving biweekly chemotherapy infusions, dozens of follow-up doctors appointments and an incalculable amount of large pills, sharp needles, and small acts of kindness, I am happy to report that I am cancer-free. It’s been a rough journey physically and mentally but I am grateful to still be here. I want to thank all of the friends and family who have supported me during my recovery, especially my loving husband @cesarmzp . Special thanks to @trintravels and @rodntaz for making the long treatment sessions more tolerable and dare I say… fun. Thank you also to the wonderfully compassionate nurses and doctors at Berkeley Comprehensive Cancer center for their ability to literally cure cancer. It is with a renewed sense of appreciation that I look forward to many more years of friendship, exploration, and joy.

Str8jacket presents Turning Red! It was such a great experience for us to channel our inner child for this project and always very meaningful to use art as a tool for Asian/ Asian-American representation. Enjoy! ✨✨

My first (small group) @str8jacket_ performance for @mhai.mills on 5/11. Had such a great time with these super fun, talented, and supportive teammates ☺️ Our set had a "Turning Red" theme (#pixar) and my character was Abby.

I was a little nervous about my lack of facials when performing mask-less for the first time in awhile, but I enjoyed the experience so much it wasn't hard to smile at all 🙂

Let's ignore the fact I tripped in my Doc Martens on the curb in the beginning 😳 Just carried on the best I could hobbling my way thru the rest of the set with leg pain 😅

Video is snippet that does not include my almost falling while housing lol The whole set was about 5 minutes long and included various styles from hip-hop. I was particularly proud of finally being able to do a few of the harder waacking combos after much practice 🥲 I made some mistakes and still need to train tho!
