After 4 years, we did it.

Converse University will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you Lord for the friends, family, memories, and growth throughout this journey. Grateful for every moment and excited for what’s next.

“I had my time” — @benjamin.notarangelo

All jokes aside, I did it. I graduated from Converse University.

I made great friends, took a lot of strides, and had countless learning experiences, as a student, an athlete, a leader, and most importantly, a brother to my friends.

When I was around 4 years old, I was diagnosed with autism. I hadn’t spoken a word since I was 4, and I was told I probably wouldn’t be in a normal classroom or even graduate high school.

Well, I guess here I am.

I’m thankful for my family, peers, friends, teammates, coaches, and professors for everything they’ve done for me along the way.

I know my family members who aren’t here anymore Justin, my cousin, my grandfather, and my aunt are looking down proud of me.

Loved my time here. Wouldn’t trade it for anything.

Georgia is next. #GoDawgs ❤️🖤

Psalms 107:1
Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his faithful love endures forever.

If I had the chance to do it again, I wouldn't hesitate one bit. From the people that I got to meet to the ones that are basically family, I will always be grateful.

First off, I want to thank the Lord for letting me use running as a platform to glorify Him. He's helped me grow in so many ways I never thought of. While the journey had its many ups and downs over the years, He has given me plenty of opportunities to glorify Him and be thankful.

I want to thank my family and friends for always supporting me over the years and encouraging me to keep going when times got tough. Y'all have always shown me the good that can come out of situations.

Lastly, I want to thank the coaches who've helped me get here today. Coach Patrick, Coach King, and Coach Jackson, thank yall for coaching me up from middle to high school over the years. Coach Rennix, thank you for taking a chance and giving me the opportunity to have a collegiate running career. Who knows where I would have went if you hadn't reached out. Coach Roger and Coach Grace, thank yall both for continuing to believe in me over the last year. While it was a short time with yall, it has meant so much to me.

I dont like the saying goodbye. So... until next time.
