This is why I always do an initial lake test at the beginning of the season after the boat sits in storage all winter. In my previous video, I found a leak coming from the raw water pump despite putting in a new impeller the day before. I thought the leak was coming from a split in the hose because the engine was not overheating and still getting enough water through the system during our session.

When I sent Jim Bingham at ‪@marineproducts‬ a video & explanation of what was going on, he immediately thought the pump was bad even though the motor wasn't overheating. So I brought her in and they got to work right away. When I came back the next day, a new pump was installed and I was EXTREMELY LUCKY because the bearing on the old pump was totally shot and the entire unit was about to fail completely.

So thanks to Jim and the entire ‪Marine Products‬ service staff for taking such great care of me once again! You guys are the best!
