6️⃣ years married to my favourite person! 🥳 Still laughing, still loving, still choosing one another through all the chaos that life throws our way. I wouldn’t want to be doing any of it with anyone else. Happy anniversary, Natty, my love. ❤️

The chicken skewers came out looking so put together I nearly stood up to introduce myself properly. Ate them anyway, zero regrets, would befriend them again. 12/10 Rogue Bissy

🔥 @roguebistro is one of Brisbane’s most exciting dining experiences right now!

This is the kind of restaurant that makes you realise dietary friendly dining doesn’t have to mean predictable.

What stood out to us most at Rogue was the sheer variety of menus available for different dietary needs, while still keeping the food playful, experimental and seriously elevated.

Rather than feeling like an afterthought, every dish felt considered, creative and completely its own.

And the presentation? Insane. 🤌🏼

We ordered:

🍘 Kimchi rice cake with avocado and sesame
🍠 Smoked beetroot with pepper cream and nori basket
🌽 Baby corn with shallot, ginger and puffed rice
🍞 New York rye with whipped smoked butter
🍄 Mushroom Mont Blanc
🐟 Seared Australian kingfish with miso caramel, tobiko, sautéed leek and kaffir lime broth
🐟 Crispy skinned Australian salmon with burnt butter, pepperberry gratin, sprout slaw and grapes
🐟 Market fish with native chermoula, pomegranate and labne
🍤 Mooloolaba king prawns with hot honey, nutmeg, parsnip and sugar snaps
🥔 Sweet potato gnocchi ripieni with nutmeg, parsnip and maple pepitas
🍮 Roasted vanilla crème brûlée with mango, lychee and macadamia

Every course felt like a little experiment, with unexpected combinations, beautiful plating and flavours we genuinely hadn’t tried before.

It was such an elevated dining experience, but still playful enough that every dish gave us something to talk about.

If you’re looking for Brisbane restaurants that do something different, put this on your list. 🤍
